Have they ever developed a successful vaccine for ANY coronavirus?

From anything I’ve been able to find the answer is no.

Yet Point Guard Mussolini keeps insisting he’ll have one in 18 months.

It may end up like trying to develop a vaccine for the "common cold"...

Heck - even though they have been making vaccines for the Flu, which does have a known after-the fact immunity factor, and those vaccines have a 30% or so efficacy...I'm thinking it will end up being one of those things we just have to learn to live with if it becomes cyclic and keeps making round each season.
