New facts in the Michael Flynn case call into question the voluntariness of Flynns plea. Judge Sullivan should dismiss the charges to send a clear message: Outrageous prosecutorial coercion will not be tolerated.
The criminal case against Michael Flynn imploded Friday. First, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia provided Flynns legal team with documents discovered by an outside review of the Flynn prosecution documents withheld for years. Then, Sidney Powell, the attorney who took over Flynns defense nearly a year ago, filed new documents in the case, revealing a secret lawyers understanding not to prosecute Flynns son if the retired lieutenant general pleaded guilty.
The criminal case against Flynn began when President Donald Trumps former national security adviser pleaded guilty Dec. 1, 2017, to lying to the FBI about conversations hed had with the Russian ambassador following Trumps election. That case, initiated by the now-disbanded special counsels office, lingered for more than a year while Flynn cooperated with Robert Muellers team. An end seemed near when Flynn appeared before presiding federal Judge Emmet Sullivan on Dec. 18, 2018, for sentencing. But after Sullivan harshly rebuked Flynn and suggested Flynn might spend time in jail, the retired lieutenant general accepted the longtime judges offer to have the sentencing hearing continued until Flynns cooperation was complete.
Things remained static until Mueller announced on May 29, 2019, that the investigation was complete, and that the special counsels office had been closed. One week later, Flynn fired his Covington & Burling lawyers, Robert Kelner and Stephen Anthony, and replaced them with Powell.
Powell, a vocal critic of the Mueller investigation, filed a flurry of motions seeking, among other things, documents she maintained the government had improperly withheld; she also sought dismissal of the indictment for prosecutorial misconduct. Sullivan

Aint gonna happen.
The Deep State reigns supreme.
It sounds like the new documents verify Flynn’s claim that the prosecutors were blackmailing him to plead guilty by threatening to prosecute his son.
Tick tock lol......
Judge Sullivan should dismiss the charges to send a clear message: Outrageous prosecutorial coercion will not be tolerated.
This is a Joke Right?? What is the Judge supposed to do, give back the Bribe Money Too??

I read this article earlier today. Very good summary.
Best post of the day....(Post 13)
We all hold Sidney Powell in high regard.
Yes...I read her book, which was both depressing and informative regarding the systemic Leftist corruption in the DOJ.
What, no BOOM? It’s not true if there’s no BOOM.
According to the Gateway Pundit, Judge Sullivan will file his response to General Flynns motion to dismiss on Monday May 4th. Flynn attorney Sidney Powell’s counter-response must be filed within two days. Of course the judge could chose to file earlier than next Monday.
Yeah. Tic-toc. Boom. And other crap thst never happens. Ask Roger Stone how well judicial corruption has worked for him?
I was on the fence for a while about Emmet Sullivan, based on media accounts I could not decide what was going on with him. One day he would say or do something that indicated he was wholly in cahoots with the Mueller team and the Left, and another day he would say something that indicated sympathy with Flynn being railroaded.
I have over time come to the conclusion that Sullivan was completely in bed with Mueller and other components of the Left in this witch hunt. I am astonished that some power somewhere didn’t step in and put another judge in charge of it.
The judge had to see all this going on.
I’m sure that you would have gotten all of this done by now. The culprits would have been hanged and their heads would be rotting on the railings of the 14th Street Bridge. You would have been, by now, nominated and seated as the Attorney General of the U.S. Congratulations.
Or perhaps you have trouble collecting the mail everyday and putting out the trash once a week, the conditions of free rent in your mother’s basement. Don’t worry, in your mind, you are a hero.
I suspect that your real shortcomings go way beyond this. Have you ever worked within or against the Administrative State, and, if so, please tell us about your successes.
Not an attorney, but IMHO, she is the most brilliant attorney in the world.........
A few years ago some idiot in charge decided to declare war on irregular verbs. No one asked me or you for permission.
