One day after The West Wind All Digital Drive-In Movie Theater in North Las Vegas re-opened, following the COVID 19 shutdown Thursday night, Gov. Sisolak ordered them to cease and desist operations.
After obtaining permission to re-open from local authorities, West Wind required movie goers to park 10 feet apart, stay in their cars except to use the restroom, where only one person at a time was allowed in. Concession stands remained closed.
Facebook page issued the following statement:
“We had received formal approval to reopen the Las Vegas Drive-In with certain operating restrictions and we complied. Unfortunately we have recently been asked to temporarily cease operations pending further direction from the Governor’s office. We are disappointed with this decision but look forward to re-opening as soon as possible. Thank you for your patronage and patience.”
This week, Gov. Sisolak generated speculation that he may extend the shut down until June, while many other states across the country are opening or preparing to open businesses by May 1, 2020.

If it for the suburban Karen’s whining on FB all day, I suspect Many of the useless measures put in place, like homemade cloth facemasks, would have never seen the light of day. In my area they are loving all the attention they are getting for making arts and crafts projects at home.

Like the national socialists and the soviet socialists before him, Sisolak loves wielding power over the little people. Whether or not a drive in movie presents a risk is irrelevant to today’s socialists, at least compared to the pleasure of depriving normal Americans of freedom.

The likely argument is that it isnt “fair”, and people have to remain conditioned to hide under their beds.
Give a little freedom, people will start remembering what living is, and wonder what crime they committed to be imprisoned.
Our drivein got permission to open, and facebook nannies forced them to change their minds.

I can think of a couple of things that can be transmitted at the drive-in. However, there are preventive treatments for them. lol
I believe the FB Karens are the ones driving a lot of this stupid useless stuff now. They are watching CNN all day with their cats and when they do dare go outside and see people shopping, jogging, they all run to FB to complain that people are not “staying safe at home and spreading this scary virus” which prompts Dems to use their fear to buy votes by doing what they want.
Of course if we all just stayed home and never went outside for 2 weeks the virus would magically end according to them and they could gt back to normal, demanding a comped meal from the manager because the server forgot a side of ketchup. Of course they ignore the fact that every idea they or some governor had has failed and “only 2 more weeks” will solve it...6 weeks later.
