During a press conference on Wednesday, California emergency room doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care told reporters that nationwide lockdown policies are not an appropriate reaction to what current data shows about the China-originated novel coronavirus but are instead causing measurable public health issues, like spikes in domestic violence, sexual abuse, depression, and spreading fear to non-COVID-19 related would-be patients that are skipping out on vital health care.
“We understand microbiology, we understand immunology, and we want strong immune systems,” Dr. Erickson told reporters, rebuffing inconsistent shelter-in-place orders . “I don’t want to stay in my home and develop a weak immune system, and then come out and get a disease.”
Erickson noted that quarantining the healthy is like nothing he’s seen before. “We decided to keep people at home and isolate them, even though everything we’ve studied about quarantine, typically you quarantine the sick,” he explained. “When someone has measles you quarantine them. We’ve never seen the healthy, where you take those without disease and without symptoms and lock them in your home. So, some of these things from what we’ve studied from immunology and microbiology aren’t really meshing with what we know as people of scientific minds who read this stuff.”

A few weeks ago, Louisiana had the 2nd highest death rate in the country..... now it has completely leveled off, and 6 other States, all in the North, have overtaken Louisiana in deaths..... all the Southern States are doing very well.... all the way across from coast to coast.... I grew up in Miami, and April is the month where it starts getting unpleasantly hot.. meanwhile, here in New York, we had a mild March, but April has been unseasonably chilly..... We usually get at least a few days where the temperature gets up into the high 70’s/low 80’s.... A little preview of summer, and the local news always does stories on people flocking to the beach.... That hasn’t happened this April.... It was snowing in Michigan when they had that protest last week..... Spring is a screwy time of year, weather wise.... and it varies greatly depending on region.... I’m very optimistic that the warm weather is helping the South a lot and hurting the North right now.... hopefully, Republican Governors in Southern States will grow a pair..... I had high hopes for Brian Kemp based on those great ads he ran when he was running for Governor, and it looks like I was right about him..... others need to start following his lead, and SOON!

Yeah, but unless the White House is able to take definitive action to stop, the RATs are going to steal the election with mail in votes during which, RATs will vote many times. Etc.
I hate to say it, but Trump is in this by himself. Because Congress, on both sides of the aisle, are owned by somebody. Soros? The Cartels? The chinese?
Most voters are stupid. The majority of the voting population was dumb enough to fall for Hysterical Corona Syndrome. It’s embarrassing but it may have been a majority of Freepers falling for it. If Free Republic is willing to give up their liberty for a little Corona safety what hope is there?
So I think Trump has lost the election. The Dems rightly judged that Trump would ride the economy to reelection. We are now in a who can keep us the safest and give us the most free stuff election. Trump cannot outspend the Dems or out lockdown the Progs. All you have to do is look at the mess that he has made of Georgia’s opening.
I know the media is as never going to give Trump a break but he was never going to get Kudos for his handling of this. It would have been better to stick to the January plan. Not the Prog agenda that came later.
But then the “get a check from the government” Freepers did their best to support the Dem/Prog agenda.
Most of them are and have been for 50 years. We got PDJT by a miraculous stroke of luck last time.

They also got into aspects of locking people up and denying them social intercourse, work, study and such. Child abuse, abuse of alcohol, depression and suicide are real and should be factored into this equation, but, are being ignored by the mass media.
I did not realize that the medical services were “standing down” services to focus on the “what if crush” of flu patients. That is criminal. I give them BIG CREDIT for being on the deck plates and dealing with reality.
I fear politicians around the world are fearful of making a call to go back to normaliy as the MSM and Karen's of the world will crucify them if but a single person falls sick.
Citizens are starting to rise up, some mayors and governors are also trusting in what they see instead of the experts. Hope is still there and it is time this madness ends.

Why is Trump going along and even promoting with the hoax? e.g declaring it national emergency, doing daily press conferences on it, issuing details on closing and opening, etc .
They cornered him with the ‘blood on your hands’ trope.
Donald Trump has navigated treacherous waters his whole life. He will come out of this and will bring us out, as well.
He showed himself as willing to defer to ‘experts’ and ‘follow the science’. He allowed the media and Fauci to expose themselves. Brix has defended him and been fairly deft dealing with the media, as have Hahn, the Surgeon General, the other public health officials.
People are home, bored and have computers. They research things like UV disinfection and these 2 ER docs.
I never underestimate the evil of the enemies or the ability of The Donald to eventually get revenge.
I also note that these 2 MDs were restraining themselves when answering the attempt of the media to formulate this as ‘how can _you_ say Fauci is wrong?’. They even managed to tone down their eyerolls.
Basically they scared people into not trusting their neighbors and businesses. Of course vast numbers of us have had minimal contact with the outside world for weeks now so the odds any of us are carrying this virus is nil. Yet we remain on house arrest.
