The driver of a single-car crash in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, is "believed" to have passed out behind the wheel after wearing an N-95 mask for too long, police said.

Lincoln Park Police Department responded to an accident on Thursday where a vehicle careened, front bumper first, into a wooden pole. After the officers cleared the scene where the driver was the only occupant of the car, they posted photographs of the crash on their Facebook page with a caption that created an "overwhelming response."

"The crash is believed to have resulted from the driver wearing an N95 mask for several hours and subsequently passing out behind the wheel due to insufficient oxygen intake/excessive carbon dioxide intake," the post read in part.

Even in hospitals if you are wearing an N95 all the time your oximeter readings start to fall dangerously low like 90% and less

Hence many nurses only wear them when in direct contact with a patient

This will be added to deaths due to Corona virus.

And due to green house gases (CO2).

I wonder if the nationwide Naked Bike Rides will be allowed this year, and will participants wear masks.

Yeah co2. Bastardi was commenting about how co2 has not decreased an iota in rise since industry closed down. So much for man made.

I had to wear a mask the other day to get into a military facility.

It was a little warm but ok until I had to put on my reading glasses and they fogged up.

I wear an N95 mask made bt 3M which has a little valve that opens on exhaling. I put it on before going out to the grocery store or picking up take-out meals. I take it off when I get home. I have never felt it was not getting me enough air for breathing. I only have a couple so I’m prolonging it by washing it from time to time to keep it clean. I live with my wife who has more health issues than I have so I’m the one who shops. We do want the shut down to end but may wear masks until the infection rate drops to a lower level.

Sun light apparently kills the virus so I just leave my masks on the car dash.

But if the valve is letting out your breath, isn’t it also letting out any virus particles too. And since we’re supposed to wear a mask to keep others from catching the WuFlu, doesn’t this kind of defeat the purpose

I was trying to read this tiny printing so I could know what I was signing, (would it KILL them to print it in 12 rather then 8?) so it is wipe, read three lines, wipe, hold breath, read 12 lines, take a breath, wipe, hold your breath to re-read the last two lines because either they were telling you that hot tub cleaner is not covered or you were suffering from oxygen deprivation.

The nice young Sargent finally said, "Just pull the mask down off your nose". I am sure it was against regulation but it got me out of his office faster. Besides I had to take it off for the required picture.

"Why do these morons wear a mask, alone in a car?"

You answered your own question. They are morons. As in genetically deprived of the little spark of intellect that allows one to count to 11.

They'll vote Democrat.

CAN PEOPLE WISE UP? if you are alone (or with your covid roommates) in a car, you don’t need an effing mask. Same with walking on a lonely street or riding your bike. Facepalm.

Funny, I wear glasses and when I worked in the hospital laundry I used to have an N-95 on all day and never had a problem breathing through it.

Fit it properly and you can forget you have it on.

If I had a nickel for every person I've seen driving around solo all masked up lately I'd have a pretty good chunk of change.
