All it takes is a back room and a box of cigars. Then they pick whomever they want, its the party’s rules. The Constitution does not care what the party’s decide as criteria or that there be parties at all. Each state can make rules regarding primaries. That’s why Bernie had no case in 2016 even though it was clear it was a filthy double cross to deny Sanders.

In 2016, super delegates had much more power.

They might have a hard time explaining Cuomo’s support for NY State’s policy of placing recovering COVID-19 patients in nursing homes. A policy which has resulted in hundreds of deaths in those nursing home patients.
