Cowa-dumb-ba: Crowds ignore social distancing rules at Southern California beaches
New York Post ^ | April 25, 2020 | Sara Dorn

California beachgoers crowded the sand as some communities opened their shorelines during a regional heat wave.

Coronavirus lockdowns were lifted at beaches across Orange County as temperatures surpassed 80 degrees.

Photos show some beachgoers gathered Friday in crowds that appear to violate social distancing rules.

> “Much smarter than I thought Californians were capable of.”

There are online videos of beachwalk locals and visitors in Venice Beach asked about views of President Trump, one video from about three years ago and one about a year ago.

The older video showed almost all having the expected poisonous view of Trump as programmed by the fake media.

The more recent video showed most accepting Trump as “doing a pretty good job”.

Venice Beach, Ok with Trump. Hit me, I’m hallucinating.

And then there is the group of people who have SARS-CoV-2 antibodies that never knew that they had the virus.

I think that's the case with any pathogen. The first-line, innate, immune system deals with it before it can get established and show symptoms, while behind the scenes the adaptive immune system is building antibodies. The key is a good, strong, first-line immune system, which most people in the Western world have, for a variety of reasons related to the advanced civilization which people seem hell-bent on destroying.

“Others show sunbathers sitting so close their towels touch.”

Oooh, their towels touched. Arrest the towels for improper social distancing.

For those not familiar with SoCal, Hueneme is pronounced Y-nee-me. Port Hueneme is in Ventura County, northwest of Los Angeles. The article uses a photo from Port Hueneme but discusses beaches in Orange County that are about 100 miles to the south. Typical ignorant New York City perspective.

A New York paper says this?

The absolute ground zero epicenter for this, the place that is messing up all over, that New York.

My better half and I have been married over 50 years. Nobody is going to tell us how close we can sit together on the beach. Oh, they can try...I wouldn’t suggest it!

Actually, New York should be the first place to reopen, because it probably has the highest herd immunity by far

Was bubble boy (David Vetter) “happy”?

At least he was alive to “be” unhappy until his doctors KILLED him with their “cure” (infected bone marrow transplant) at 12 years old.

doctors - cure- ventilator- death.

Where do doctors “practice”? WHO do they “practice” on?

I always say that doctors (surgeons) are a lot like auto mechanics (read “parts changers).

Drink plenty of fluids, bed rest, (co-pay). Come back in two weeks and we will see how you are doing, (co-pay).

If we WAIT long enough, it will go away on its own. Then what the hell am I paying YOU for?

Those pictures sure don’t look very “packed” to me. Hardly crowds at all.

My experience with beaches is confined to the Jersey Shore. The only time you ever see unrelated people whose towels touch is when the beach is really, really crowded, such as when it is the 4th of July or Labor Day weekend.

People just naturally don’t want their stuff touching the stuff of people they don’t know if there is enough space for this not to happen.

I imagine it is much the same way in CA. I imagine the beaches there are not as crowded on peak summer holidays because the beach is not that special in the summer when weather permits one to go to it during many months out of the year.

Here at the Jersey Shore (the #1 Karen state!) I just returned from my daily 5K at the beach. Less than half of the walkers/runners were wearing masks. Last weekend it was about 60%.

Even in New Jersey it is becoming obvious that this has gotten silly.

"Appear to break social distancing rules..."

I guess none of them came as family units...even the kids drove their own cars...

Yep. Been hiking and doing hour long beach walks daily here in Santa Barbara. It’s been healing and healthy and a joy. Great to see others out there doing the same.

yes. It’s interesting. I’ve been reading comment on a local news site. You get people like me out enjoy it all (and rarely online because of said participation ;D lol.) and then you get the hysterical commenters SCREAMING in ALL CAPS about how anyone going out in the world should be arrested immediately. They have no idea how so many of us are out enjoying this gorgeous world all day long and sleeping like babies at night eating healthy and loving it—staying healthy, joyous, and free. :D

Yes. People like their personal space. As a female, I would feel uncomfortable if some guy I didn’t know set his blanket and body next to me when there was plenty of space around. Something is not right; time to move away.

Of course the New Jack City subways spread that covid crap all around. Buses too. The windows don’t open on them. Plus the NYC Transit Authority was running half the trains once self isolation became big. Half the trains means more packed with people breathing covid crap on you.
