While the mainstream media has mostly kept a lid on this story, the sexual assault allegations by Tara Reade against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden aren't going away soon. As PJM's Rick Moran reported earlier this week, the D.C. police are treating the allegations as an "active and ongoing" investigation. Many liberals are turning a blind eye to the story, but there are some who have a vested interest in keeping this story alive and front and center: Bernie Bros.
In fact, Briahna Joy Gray, Bernie Sanders' former campaign press secretary, who has been a vocal critic of Biden, suggested in an interview with The Atlantic that the allegations might just thwart Biden's nomination at the Democratic National Convention.
Gray told Emma Green that the Democratic primary is far from over. "The Democratic Party would like us to believe [we're now in the general election season], and they behaved that way even before Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race. But we are, in fact, still in a Democratic-primary season. Biden is only the presumptive nominee," she said, before adding, "And there’s all kinds of whispers and rumors about whether or not something might happen at the convention, which might mean Joe Biden isn’t even the nominee."
"Are you talking about the Tara Reade allegations?" Green asked.
"There’s a lot of reasons why Democrats might want to substitute a different person for Joe Biden as the nominee," said Gray. "The Tara Reade allegation has been handled abysmally by the press. If anyone looks at this closely, then they will see reason for concern."
Obviously, Gray is correct that there are reasons to be concerned. Unlike the allegations made against Brett Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey Ford, which were uncorroborated and had all sorts of holes in it,

Hmmm. So, did bur-knee ‘quit’ the race or suspend his campaign? Did he ever release his already acquired delegates?

Since when did the statue of limitations become meaningless in this country either for liberals or conservatives.
It is enough to fry Biden in the court of public opinion, but the time limit to bring criminal charges has passed due to the refusal of the victim to press charges at the time this occurred.

The Democrats would never dump Biden over this. They might, however, use this as an excuse to dump him for other reasons — like he’s just a pathetic old loser.

He was merely a pawn used to get rid of Bernie, a placeholder until the real candidate if revealed.
The DC police are treating Seth Rich’s murder as an “active and ongoing” investigation, too.
Doesn’t mean anything will come of it.
The Democrats may dump Biden for #MeToo and his dementia.
So, the puppet masters have three choices:
1) Lose by sticking with a wounded Biden
2) Lose by replacing Biden with Sanders
3) Lose by replacing Biden with someone else
The first keeps the party mostly intact
The second gives the socialists control over the party
The third destroys the DNC for at least a generation
Sure they will....it’s a convenient excuse. (See: Torricelli, Bob- Felon, NJ) They know he’s a sure loser and that trump will obliterate him. And they also know any reasonably sane demhole can beat trump as the economy continues the downward spiral into a full-blown undeniable depression.
Yeah, as if Bernie has a shot at being the nominee should Slow Joe be put out to pasture.

Well, this scandal - as if the democrat’s favorite national press corpse ever decides to notice it! - is needed to remove Joe Biden, then keeping it “on the back burner” makes it available so be right at hand for publicity.
We know that the ever-compliant media will follow their instructions religiously. That they are ignoring the assault means that either no replacement is known, or that no replacement has been chosen yet.
Certainly, no names are being promoted other than the daily Cuomo press adulation for New York’s virus response. Doesn’t make Cuomo a national candidate - more the opposite actually - but the press have proven they will gleefully ignore anything they decide to ignore.
I detest Joe. But you can’t wait 20 plus years to make a criminal complaint for this. The SoL is waaay expired.
Was there any doubt PedoJoe would be replaced?
His replacement is just offstage waiting in the wings...
