The antiviral medicine remdesivir from Gilead Sciences failed to speed the improvement of patients with Covid-19 or prevent them from dying, according to results from a long-awaited clinical trial conducted in China. Gilead, however, said the data suggest a “potential benefit.”
A summary of the study results was inadvertently posted to the website of the World Health Organization and seen by STAT on Thursday, but then removed.

This was news last Thursday when the market Jumped, after hours. Market only reacted to the story as positive, when the last weeks story was very negative. As in 1 in 4 serious side effects and no real benefit. We are witnessing market manipulation. Expect no real treatment for China Flu, except what we have now, for a year. Time to go with herd immunity.

Jim, why did China file for their own patent for Remdesivir back in January if the drug had no efficacy?

NIH panel on COVID-19 decided not to recommend hydroxychloroquine.
But 9 panel members disclosed financial ties to $GILD, the maker of remdesivir, its competitor.
