Yes. There are four cluster that account for 70% of all deaths in the U.S.

New York City area which includes parts of New Jersey and Connecticut which extends to Boston area and all the way down to Philadelphia, perhaps soon DC and I’d assume Baltimore.

Detroit area

New Orleans area

Chicago area.

Philly, Chicago, DC and probably Baltimore are set to grow.

These areas need to be quarantined, no travel from there.

Everywhere else except for certain small places, e.g. In Colorado, Indianapolis.

Other regions are not problem areas.

I’m not sure whether to include Washington state Seattle area.

a.k.a. The Acela Corridor

Which, by the way, Amtrak shut down in mid-March with a reopening date of May 27.

Actually, Seattle/Kings County Washington is a bit of a success story. They hit a size-adjusted 1,000 fatality level in early March and told everyone to work from home. It was a shocker and one of the first places to do so. Also, to be fair, a lot of their fatalities were from retirement communities. Nonetheless, data are data and WA has one of the lower adjusted fatality levels that I am tracking.

Indiana is a head scratcher.
