I had the privilege of knowing The Shrew as a fellow Freeper from the Great FR Class of '98...I was on many Freeps with him in DC and elsewhere......and I also served with him when we were Directors of the Free Republic Network.

He was a gentleman and a scholar, with a ready wit enjoyed by all who knew him.
