While the US shuts down all commerce for weeks and destroys the economy, other countries like Sweden and Brazil are doing the opposite and allowing the China coronavirus to run its course.
Data indicates there no material differences in fatalities between the three countries. In fact it now appears the COVID-19 numbers are dropping significantly in both Brazil and Sweden. This leads the casual observer to question why is the US killing its economy? The US continues to prevent nearly all commerce from occurring to combat the China coronavirus. Many other countries are following suit. But some countries like Sweden and Brazil are keeping their countries open for business.
Data shows that the fatalities related to the coronavirus in these countries are very similar to those in the US.

The Recently deceased was classified as Covid-19 death. However, the 56 year old female had leukemia. They didn’t know until her passing she was infected.
I don’t believe Brazil’s #s. And I don’t believe ours. We are inflated and they are deflated.
It was collusion between the Chinese Communists and the Democrats to wreck the economy to prevent President Trump’s reelection. The media arm of the Democrats was in charge of promoting hysteria, and it has worked. Tragic.

Not quite that extreme. Sweden has encouraged common-sense social distancing and hygiene measures. And Brazilian governors have enacted social isolation measures to varying degrees, regardless of what their President said.

Is the comparison between these three really sensible given the disparity in population available for infection?

Agreed. But my point is, they both did far more than just “do nothing”, as the Whitmer/Cuomo types might claim. There’s a vast middle ground between “do absolutely nothing” and “shoot everyone before they catch the virus”.
I keep seeing people posting this sort of sh*t, and it's very annoying. They are glossing over huge differences in an effort to push their claim that this disease is not deadly.
According to one article I read, white people have fewer ACE2 receptors, which the virus uses to infect cells, and the odds of white men getting infected are 75% of that of Asians, and white women are 50% of that of Asians. Sweden is full of a bunch of white people, isn't it?
Also, their capitol city only has a million people in it, contrasting that with New York which has 8 and a half million.
Population density is a major factor in the spread of this thing.
Also, i've read that Sweden is not using the same methodology to count corona virus patients, their people are also doing social distancing, and they have told their elderly not to come to the hospital and to ride it out at home.
We aren't getting the real picture on Sweden, and I wish people would exercise some common sense and some honesty in comparing countries. Other than the genetic differences that help white people avoid infection, diseases progress through every community the same, all other factors being equal.
Right, they don’t have Dr Doom, Deborah, a MSM/DNC using it to bring down a President, or a destroyed economy.
So Democrats can disband the constitution and establish a brutal Stalinist state. They need the economy destroyed.

No matter how you look at it, Brazil is vastly better off than the US. Total coronavirus infections, infections per head, death per head, deaths going up/going down etc. the deaths from Brazil and Sweden are going down sharply, with no economy destroying quarantines.
The US? At best it's at a plateau, if that. And the US has put 17 million out of work and finacially ruined millions for that?
