President Trump delivered his first public rebuke of the nations top infectious disease expert and a member of his coronavirus task force on Sunday evening by resharing a tweet that said Time to #FireFauci.
DeAnna Lorraine, a Trump supporter and former congressional candidate for California, tweeted: Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he couldve saved more lives.
But Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large. Trump retweeted Lorraine and commented of her claims, Sorry Fake News, its all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up.

Trumps’s tweets are the most effective communication medium of any President in US history. With a single tweet, he reaches more Americans than the media, more than even the Emergency Broadcast System! Why do you say he should not tweet anything?
Heavenly Father, grant President Dr. Trump wisdom to navigate this field of vipers.
Just referring to this situation with Fauci. Not in general.
Im looking for the February 29th comment by Dr Fauci where he said there was nothing to worry about. I have the February 17th similar comment
Ah, thanks for the clarification.
Ahh thanks !
Rumor has it he is on Bill Gates payroll.
That was how I read it too. This is a manufactured dust up, but Fauci should stay off of tv. He walked into it with his eyes wide shut.
there’s a case for arguing there should never have been any lockdowns:
Youtube: 41m31s: 3 April: Perspectives on the Pandemic | Professor Knut Wittkowski | Episode 2
posted by Journeyman Pictures
In this explosive second edition of Perspectives on the Pandemic, Professor Knut Wittkowski, for twenty years head of The Rockefeller University’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design, says that social distancing and lockdown is the absolutely worst way to deal with an airborne respiratory virus.
Further, he offers data to show that China and South Korea had already reached their peak number of cases when they instituted their containment measures. In other words, nature had already achieved, or nearly achieved, herd immunity.

A Conversation with Dr. Knut Wittkowski
Interviewed by John Kirby, Libby Handros and Lee Davis
The Press & The Public Project
New York City, April 1 & 2, 2020
[41:02.18] WITTKOWSKI: I think people in the United States and maybe other countries as well are more docile than they should be. People should talk with their politicians, question them, ask them to explain, because if people dont stand up to their rights, their rights will be forgotten. Im Knut Wittkowski. I was at the Rockefeller University, I have been an epidemiologist for 35 years, and I have been modeling epidemics for 35 years. Its a pleasure to have the ability to help people to understand, ***but its a struggle to get heard.

Like you point out, and like Trump points out, we have an 850B dollar trade deficit with China. What I just realized is 850B dollars US is worth a Hell of a lot more to currency manipulators in China. Would it be a 10 or 12 factor on their side, IOW, are we talking about the equivalent of 20 trillion dollars yearly, equated to our standards? No wonder they dont want tariffs.
this piece is full of it:
12 Apr Updated 13 Apr: Bloomberg: Fauci Says U.S. Reopening Could Start In Some Ways in May
By Ros Krasny and Hailey Waller; With assistance by Stephen Cunningham, and Kristen V Brown
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat, said on CNN that moving too quickly would be gasoline on the fire. ...
It would be more devastating to Seattle to reopen and then have a resurgence, Jenny Durkan, the Washington citys mayor, said on CNN. We have to be as smart about reopening as we were not smart about preventing this in the first place....
Stephen Hahn, commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, said the safety and welfare of the American people has to come first...
There is always the possibility, as that — as we get into next fall, and the beginning of early winter — that we could see a rebound of coronavirus spread, Fauci said.
Hopefully we will be able to respond to that rebound in a much more effective way than what we have seen now in January, February, March.

Trump shouldn’t hesitate to dump Fauci.
Now, THAT you will not get an argument from me on.
Agreed. With all of his hand signals to Jim and Jake, I think he was wanting to be fired.
Then he spends Easter Sunday telling bald faced lies about the boss.
He would be delusional to not expect repercussions.
This has been posted twice already. People critical of Fauci are zooming in on the #firefauci hashtag while ignoring the Presidents doesn't edit what he retweets.
If he left of the hashtag, this would be rebutting the claim the President had a delayed response - as well as defending Dr. Fauci.
What Fauci actually said on 2/27: Top disease official: Risk of coronavirus in USA is 'minuscule'; skip mask and wash hands
Watch the 2 minute video. BTW, Dr Fauci did not say the word miniscule, that was the author paraphrasing him.
There is no disagreement or conflict between the President and Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Fauci has not been lying to the President.
the guy practically lives at CNN. as for the FakeNewsMSM grooming!
10 Apr: Mashable: Dr. Fauci knows which actor he wants to play him on ‘Saturday Night Live’
By Nicole Gallucci
In an interview with CNN’s New Day on Friday morning, anchor Alisyn Camerota said, “On a much lighter note, Saturday Night Live is back this weekend after a month of being off. What do you think the chances are that somebody will portray you?”
Fauci laughed and said, “I have no idea! I hope not,” but after Camerota suggested a few actors that might be able to play him, he seemed to warm up to the idea a little. Camerota floated Ben Stiller and Brad Pitt, and Fauci laughed and said, “Oh, Brad Pitt of course!”...
Since Fauci, a key member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, has been speaking at news briefings alongside President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, he’s become a symbol of steady leadership for many Americans.
The man is extremely competent, which is a particularly attractive quality these days, and in several instances he’s proven that he isn’t afraid to challenge or disagree with Trump’s leadership.
Fauci’s current beloved status makes it seem highly likely that he’d get a shoutout or two on SNL...
Tune in to see if Ben Stiller or Brad Pitt calls into the SNL video chat as Fauci, though in my humble opinion, the role should be played by the one and only Steve Carell.

Trump is smart. If someone tries to undermine him. out they go. I like that!
