Biden: The Democrats' Eggs All in One Basket Case
American Thinker.com ^ | April 12, 2020 | Doris O'Brien

What seems like many pandemic moons ago, my liberal son called me on the night of Super Tuesday to express his surprise. Somehow, he pondered, Joe Biden — all but left for dead after the three initial Democrat primaries — had miraculously been resurrected. Once again, the old veep was astride his party's donkey as its "presumptive" nominee.

But Sleepy Joe was not among those registering surprise over his political comeback, except perhaps that he wasn't expecting it until Super Thursday. Indeed, he looked plenty smug as he mounted the victory dais and introduced his sister as his wife. The embarrassment of that "switcheroo" aside, Old Uncle Joe had good reason to feel elated. His political instincts had been right. His candidacy was inevitable, and so would be his path forward. As he often claimed, the stamp of approval could not have been indelibly inked on a more deserving or qualified person. All he had to do to land in the Oval Office was "beat Trump like a drum."

In the midst of his self-absorbed euphoria, Biden barely acknowledged that had not the so-called moderate Democrat primary candidates dropped out and endorsed him after Super Tuesday, he would likely still be plodding through the primary season. More importantly and not by coincidence, his spurt of support had kicked in when American voters finally awoke to the frightening prospect of living under Bernie Sanders's brand of socialism.

Biden: The Democrats' Eggs All in One Basket Case

The Republicans put all their eggs in one basket in 2016 and it turned out pretty good, better than the Democrat eggs all in their basket. And in 2012 the Republicans put all their eggs in the Romney basket and it turned out to be a pretty big flop. We'll see in November which basket of eggs comes out on top.

The Dems want to run with the IDEA of Biden that the media will try to craft with them - this moderate, experienced, well thought out plans, in opposition to crazy Middle East wars, who has lost so much in life and still has equanimity towards others. They cannot run with the REALITY of Biden - the ancient, old for his age, incapable of stringing a few words together, increasingly senile, corrupt old man with a long history of inappropriate conduct. So they will stay with a strong VP candidate, surrogates and the loving denial of their apparatchiks who call themselves the “news”. They will paint a picture of an entirely different Dorian Gray, who in reality looks far worse than the real one blotched by decades of age, stupidity (he was 76th out of 85 at a crappy law school) and corruption. Will it work? With 40 percent of the population who are blinded to reality, yes. The question is whether the 15 percent who are true independents, libertarians, etc. can and will be fooled remains.

We all know the idiot will not get nominated. One of the Democrat Party’s strongest assets is their rules are “...more what you’d call “guidelines” than actual rules.

Same for laws under Democrats. Else, the Hillabeast, Dead Ted, Sloe Joe Biden, and - well - most of Democrat governors would be jailed.

The Republicans put all their eggs in one basket in 2016Oh how people forget.

As most of us remember the Republicans put their eggs in one basket in 2061 JEB! We the voters did something different. The RINO running dogs of the CHICOMS are still kicking and screaming.

A political discussion re Biden is irrelevent in the midst of his early senility, corruption and disgusting activities with women and little girls. Pretending he is a viable candidate doesn’t work.

“It’s like holding a coronation from which the crowned prince never goes forth to receive the roar of the crowd. “

This is a very clever sentence in the age of Coronavirus. Do you think it was intentional?

In the midst of his self-absorbed euphoria, Biden barely acknowledged that had not the so-called moderate Democrat primary candidates dropped out and endorsed him after Super Tuesday, he would likely still be plodding through the primary season.

I added that emphasis so you could see what they did there. The endorsements from Buttigieg, Klobouchar, and O'Rourke came before Super. Susan Rice and Harry Reid (remember them?) also endorsed Biden on the eve of Super Tuesday.

Congressman Jim Clyburn (House Majority Whip) endorsed Joe's all-but-dead campaign just days before the South Carolina primary. Warren is still a holdout who has backed neither Biden nor Sanders. Bloomberg was the only candidate to endorse Biden immediately after Super Tuesday

My point: Folks were throwing in the towel--and their potential delegates--just ahead of Super Tuesday, not afterwards!

And why would those running just offer Biden any delegates they might have won ahead of Super Tuesday? Their leverage would be stronger and mean more after those primaries. And now we have an article that says they did just that!

>>>A political discussion re Biden is irrelevent in the midst of his early senility, corruption and disgusting activities with women and little girls<<<

None of which will be “discussed” by the DNC Media unless the Rats figure out away to control him via a strong VP Candidate (Insurance Policy anyone?) or Biden suffers a Health Crisis before the Convention.

>>>Pretending he is a viable candidate doesn’t work<<<

To paraphrase Hillary “Benghazi” Clinton, POTUS Trump should be 50 points ahead, yet he and Biden are tied according to “the Polls”.

Astute Cong Jim Clyburn (House Democrat Majority Whip) endorsed Joe's all-but-dead campaign right before the South Carolina primary.

Just drumming up business. Clyburn used to be a funeral director in civilian life.
