Either we’re not being told something or we’re sitting in our homes hiding from some monster.
I hope it’s that we’re not being told something rather than hiding from some viral monster that we’re all gonna get or already had anyway. And I’m not sitting in my home. I go to stores every few days, walk daily, visit with people.
Tell me why. Because of some viral infection? Or a bio weapon?
Whatever it is, it isn’t worth giving up my Constitutional Rights. What’s the next mandate? Giving up our guns, our 2nd Amendment Rights?
Yet the subway in NYC still isn’t closed nor is any public transportation in any city.

Think of it this way - there's risk involved in driving a car - but a lot more risk if they're drunk and going a hundred miles an hour.

Here’s the beauty of a market economy - people vote with their feet.
If most people feel like YOU feel - and don’t want restrictions on stores then the ones that offer safety will lose business.
If I’m right - and the majority of people want to shop and feel like it’s NOT ‘a life or death decision’ - then changes will take place.
I doubt this will be the only ‘accidental’ release of a virus - and the next one might be much worse. If we were nuked and I wanted areas of highest radiation roped off so people wouldn’t casually walk into high radiation areas and kill themselves, would you object?

Couldn’t agree more! In today’s culture most people (and sadly many in this community) worship “science” and “scientists”. Many profess to worship God, but when the chips are down they bow down to “expert opinion” and march meekly to totalitarian tunes.
