One person was killed Friday night and at least nine others wounded as bullets once again tore through streets in gun-controlled Chicago.
The Chicago Tribune reports 22-year-old Darnell J. McGee died after three attackers “jumped out of a silver Audi and opened fire” just after 7 p.m.
McGee was shot several times and “pronounced dead at the scene.”
At least nine other individuals were shot and wounded before 5 a.m. Saturday, making a violent 10 hour window of time.
On March 18, 2020, Breitbart News reported violence in gun-controlled Baltimore was so bad that Mayor Jack Young (D) resorted to begging city residents to quit shooting each other, so as to save hospital beds for coronavirus victims.
Baltimore and Chicago have both been Democrat-controlled for decades.

Crime never sleeps in the great city of Chicago. It’s a citywide past time since it’s founding. I know, having had Chicago coppers in the family since the 1920’s. The West side is the best side for street action of all kinds. South side close runner up. And there’s nothing they’re going to be able to do to stop it, short of martial law, virus or no virus.
A more productive use of the Illinois National Guard would be to deploy them on the south and west sides to ferret out the ghetto/gang rats and mow ‘em down.

They are not allowed to gather in one place even if the purpose is to shoot each other. Mayor Lighthead will need to set free another 100 violent criminals from Chicago jails to make up for the casualties.

Seems to be working. The death rate for a typical Chicago weekend is much much higher.
Friday night our “gun spotter” system recorded 30 shots fired in our local urban paradise. Since the cops are not doing a lot of traffic stops the drugs are flowing.
This is only going to get worse.

I was glad to see your thread, because earlier, I was wondering what was happening in city crime during the pandemic, and my thoughts wandered to Chicago weekends, about which people talk.
First off, this sounds like a fairly low tally for weekend Chicago. It sounds like caution is keeping some bangers off the street.
Second, if you can’t hit the broad side of a barn at a “social distance,” you are doing it completely wrong, even if you hold your gun gangsta-style horizontal when using.
