Michigan state lawmaker dies of suspected coronavirus infection BY JOHN BOWDEN - 03/29/20 10:24 PM EDT
Michigan state Rep. Isaac Robinson (D) died on Sunday due to a suspected coronavirus infection, according to his family.
His mother, former state Rep. Rose Mary Robinson (D), confirmed Robinson's death in a statement to 7 Action News, a local ABC affiliate.
"I called EMS, they took him to Receiving at 6 a.m. and he was dead by 11," she added to local news affiliate Crain's Detroit Business.
Robinson, 44, was unmarried and previously served as a political director for the Teamsters Union, according to Crain's.
"Rep. Isaac Robinson had a huge heart, a quick wit, and a genuine passion for the people. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He was a fierce advocate for Detroiters and people across Southeast Michigan," Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) tweeted on Sunday.
"He dedicated his career to ensuring justice and security for those he served, and the impact he had on his community will continue to be felt for years to come. Rep. Robinson will be missed by many, including me. It was an honor to serve the people of Michigan alongside him," she added. The coronavirus outbreak, which has sickened more than 130,000 nationwide, has killed more than 130 people in the state of Michigan. The disease often presents as a form of pneumonia, which can be deadly.
Doesn't matter. If they suspect it was COVID-19, it will be recorded as such regardless of the actual cause.
If that is indeed what’s happening, WuFlu death stats are worthless.

Yep, a guy that big probably has at least a 2/3 chance of being diabetic, and then have other underlying health conditions. Even though he was only 44, he was not the type to think about when somebody says “oh my god, he was so young and healthy”. If he smoked, catching the virus may have been a death sentence.

McMillian, who was black, had forged ties while serving for four years as international executive director of the historically black Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Maybe total coincidence, but I doubt this is a simple story.....

Just like “smoking related” deaths...if you smoked one cigarette in 1960 it would be recorded as a smoking death in 2020 no mwttervfc the actual cause.

Only the family suspects CV-19, there is no indication that the doctors suspect it.
Sick jokes aside, I hope his loved ones get comfort from the Lord...my daughter is a nurse and said they are having such cases of younger, supposedly "safer", folks dying in short periods of time which adds to the "mystique" of the bug...I'd wager that a number of them had un-diagnosed "other issues" but we may not ever know what some of the factors might be.

Italy is lying.
In some locales the current death rate from all causes is as much as 16 times the rate from last year. But only 4x of the deaths are attributed to CCP-19. That leaves 12x attributed to “normal” causes. I’ll concede the 1x of “normal” (should be lower due to lockdowns and social distancing) and another 1x due to HCS collapse (a very generous concession, IMO). What about the other 10x?
The rates vary considerably between locales. 16x is perhaps the most egregious. But, still...
