If I were in NYC, I would try really hard not to go to the grocery store.
But I’m not in NYC. I’m in a small town and I can’t see my neighbor’s house from my house. If I feel like going to the grocery store, I get in my car and go. I just keep my distance from people.
I am not at all convinced that we have “flattened the curve” in this country.
The models suggest we won’t flatten it until sometime around Easter. April 19th is the peak projected date for the US, last I heard.
The only way you could avoid going to the grocery store would be if you were comfortable eating rice, ramen beans and then I’d hope you even had enough room to store all that...
