We use it for family chats with kids and grandkids. I'll be sure to give the ChiComs a shoutout next time. We use it because it seems to be a lot more stable than Farcebook.

I've replied to posts a number of times in regards to the security vulnerabilities when using Zoom. If you're having a conversation with your kids or parents and everything is innocuous then it's no different than having Alexa in your house or using Facebook.

However, for the enterprise, government and those who don't want any of their information shared with other social media companies, you're crazy to use Zoom. They record every session and can access your contacts. They get around security by saying that it is up to the participants to not discuss anything that is private or confidential.

And, they have a separate MSA if you have to be HIPPA compliant, which is supposed to put you on separate servers that do not record your sessions but, who's to say that is really happening?

We were discussing some sensitive matters involving a large country in East Asia. Everyone in the Sunday School class that had WeChat on their phone had to turn their cell phones off for the duration of the discussion.
