Leaders are dealing with the crisis on a largely national basis, but the viruss society-dissolving effects do not recognize borders. While the assault on human health willhopefullybe temporary, the political and economic upheaval it has unleashed could last for generations. No country, not even the U.S., can in a purely national effort overcome the virus. Addressing the necessities of the moment must ultimately be coupled with a global collaborative vision and program. If we cannot do both in tandem, we will face the worst of each.

Bring critical manufacturing back home. Expel citizens of hostile foreign governments, especially chinese. Build the wall and stop allowing foreigners to come and go as they please.
Am I forgetting anything?
Can you say, "Tri-Lateral Commission, Bilderburgers, Davos etc.,etc.,etc.?"
There it is folks. In the first paragraph.
People have been saying this pandemic is going to be the end of globalism. I said the globalists would change the narrative.
'No county...can...overcome this virus'.
This isn't a crisis for the globalists. This is a dream come true.
'We need WORLD leadership'.
“No country, not even the U.S., can in a purely national effort overcome the virus.”
Well, Kissinger’s pet client state, communist China, has claimed to do just that. And is heralded by the MSM as an example of effective leadership.
He a trader. Always has been. Wont listen to a word he says
What a bunch of globalist drivel.
Kissinger....where has he been?...not a virologist or epidemiologist for sure..when they find a vaccine or cure...it will be the end of this change the world forever nonsense.....i hope you mean destroy communist china.
“”No country, not even the U.S., can in a purely national effort overcome the virus.””
What a crock.
We can overcome it here in the US. Move our essential manufacturing back to our own shores.
Globalism is a failure because it inevitably leads to an erosion of our rights to self-determination by some mysterious world body full of bad actors and petty jealousy.
The UN, World Health Organization, and many other world bodies that would direct our lives have been corrupted by nations that do not share our values.
No thanks.
What “society-dissolving effects”?
Scientific cooperation and collaboration are dandy, and are happening all the time. But open boarders made the rapid spread of the Wuhan coronavirus possible. Next, concentrating production of critical medical supplies in one place, China, undermined other countries’ ability to fight the pandemic. More of the cause is not the cure, Henry, no matter how much the Chinese pay you to say it.
“Did the H1N1 virus change anything or the Asian flu or AIDS?”
None of those shut down our economy and by the time it’s over will wipe out trillions in personal wealth.
“Globalism is dead, Hank. Wake up and smell the domestic coffee.”
I’ll believe it when I see it. I do not trust these folks.
Absolutely I mean destroy communist China. Since 1949 thats all its ever been
This whole hysteria by the media is just because Trump is president; any Demorat there’d hardly be a mention.
This is just the same globalist BS the WSJ has always pushed.
One of the prime authors of globalism speaks.
This is the guy who during Nixon days said that Communism is winning and we need to accommodate with getting the best deals we can as America declines.
Where’s Christopher Hitchens when you need him?
South Korea has done a pretty good job of proving him wrong.
The current crisis proves the world need more experts.
Yes we were. Im trying to square which is worse...our enemy afar or our enemy within.
