United Nations (United States) (AFP) - The UN General Assembly on Thursday approved a resolution calling for "international cooperation" and "multilateralism" in the fight against COVID-19, in the first text to come out of the international body since the outbreak began.
The resolution, approved by consensus, also stresses "the need for full respect for human rights" and that "there is no place for any form of discrimination, racism and xenophobia in the response to the pandemic."
The UN resolution emphasises the central role of the body in the global health and economic crisis. It was submitted by Switzerland, Indonesia, Singapore, Norway, Liechtenstein and Ghana, and adopted by 188 of the 193 states that make up the body, diplomats said.
Unlike the UN Security Council, the resolutions adopted by the General Assembly are not binding but have a strong political value depending on their support.
According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the coronavirus is "the most challenging crisis we have faced since the Second World War."

That certainly doesn’t preclude it from containing future prophecy. And the 7 Churches who received letters were suffering much more from pagan persecution and exclusion from the guilds for refusing to attend pagan guild festivals thus preventing them from earning a living. The near/far aspect of biblical prophecy has been recognized by most biblical scholars and commentators.

When has Revelation 9 ever occurred in all of history, specifically during the early Church as you cite?
How about you study the numbers talked about in that chapter before posting such absurdity?

The “absurdity”of it is how a certain book of the Holy Bible is used and abused to try to prove a point.
Well, the second coming of Christ and the wedding supper of the Lamb in Chapter 19 is a pretty good example.
I see Revelation as BOTH the past and the future as it should be.

Translation: There’s got to be some way we can demand more money from the United States in the name of some fake humanitarian cause, and then spit in their faces when we get it.
I can see a real possibility that if this communist virus continues to worsen, the socialists will see it as the golden opportunity they have been looking for, to bring down the churches - and the constitution.
A major argument they might use: Christian worship centers in their need to gather in churches, which is a threat to society during this virus threat, while citing the first Ammendment for their justification.
Never mind the fact that it isn’t just Christians that have the need to gather together, so do Jews and Muslims. It’ll be, as usual, Christians only who’ll be in their crosshairs.

Here’s a clue: That 200 million man army going to kill & conquer. The world’s population at the time of your suggestion didn’t even have 200 million people, much less all of it for an army.
Also when did 1/3 of humanity ever perish by the 3 plagues mentioned? Or have you even read Revelation 9 ever?
