The United States and much of the western world, by utilizing the most draconian of tactics, is plunging many nations into potential economic and societal chaos as they attempt to stem the tide of the Chinese Coronavirus. Relying on dubious and error-prone projections, politicians and bureaucrats constitutionally or statutorily limited in their power, are now exercising near-dictatorial authority in their edicts, which are effectively suspending or terminating numerous freedoms under the guise of protecting their respective nations.
All Americans, not be just those with first-hand experience dealing with World War II and its aftermath or living in Eastern Europe under iron boot of the Soviet Union or escaping the Communist/socialist hellholes of Cuba, Southeast Asia or Venezuela, should view these actions with considerable trepidation.
When societies lose their freedom, it is not ordinarily because autocrats or tyrants have forcibly taken it away. It is usually the result of the population willingly surrendering their freedom in return for protection against an external threat. While the threat is oftentimes real, it is invariably exaggerated.
This is what we in the United States are experiencing. The general public has been stampeded by the fearmongering in the media into demanding action from the politicians at both the state and federal level. The politicians respond and do not pause to ask whether these actions will work -- just do something! They do not ask if the financial and societal cost to the nation is worth the unknown and perhaps nebulous return.

You mis understood me. The US Army, and US government forces would not have a chance in a general uprising of armed citizenry.
However you ment it

Whatever. The USA ( the government ) can only muster an army of a million over a period of months, in Virginia alone we ( insurgents ) could muster that much over night.

I have cops in my family. A goodly number of US also have served (and are serving) in our various military branches. If they are with US, they will be standing beside US, not in front of US. Virginia Sheriffs (2A) recent stands come to mind. Carry on!
Sadly I agree wholeheartedly with your post. It has been stunning to me to see how easily this whole lockdown has been implemented. Stoke the fear and ‘the brave’ in ‘the land of the free’ roll over. From Benito Cuomo to your neighborhood Mrs. Kravitz ratting out you having a beer on your deck with a couple buddies, this is bringing out the inner Stasi in all the lots of people.
So easy. And good luck putting this fascist toothpaste back in the tube. Liberty lost is rarely regained.

Well, bless you for hanging on to it. There was a lot said back in the day on FR, Like Soul of the South’s long list of what flyover folks won’t stand for but for some reason were immune or ignorant of the gradual increase in the water temp of the pot they called home.
Speaking of wake up calls. That list ought to speak volumes to anyone who calls themselves a true believer in the Constitution of the United States of America.
Frankly that list ought to be pasted on the inside of every exit door in our homes as well as the front of the refrigerator and every TV screen in the house.
That list was pretty much the combined effort of a number of Congresses the citizens who voted them into public service, the Supreme Court of the United States both, Political Parties, a veritable host of unconstitutional bureaucratic government agencies, and even many I have not included.
We stand condemned by the list of our own making despite years of fighting to preserve the Constitution we have clearly been fighting what so far has been a losing battle. We have two or three choices as I see it.
Keep fighting the fight in hopes of a turnaround.
Give it up and rollover, but then the appearance is that is what we have been doing
Keep fighting with the knowledge that only God can win this one and pray mightily for the return of Jesus Christ who has promised to fight our battles and will keep us from having to go to war against our own.
