I’m not talking about shooting cops. One of my nieces is engaged to a cop, two of my cousins are retired police officers. I’m talking about the Rats on Capitol Hill.

So you think you will gain access to 'the Rats on Capital Hill' without killing cops to get there? You clearly haven't thought this through. There are whole cadres of cops between US & Them. I take it you're just blowing off some steam.

I'm not arguing your premise. The path to get there is covered in blood. Yours, mine and theirs! Badges or no. If one hesitates because he sees a badge or a uniform, we've already lost.

I have cops in my family. A goodly number of US also have served (and are serving) in our various military branches. If they are with US, they will be standing beside US, not in front of US. Virginia Sheriffs (2A) recent stands come to mind. Carry on!

No one's going to march. Very few are going to fight. Complain all you want but we have a really poor history of standing up over the last 50 years.

Perhaps this will be the year.

Sadly I agree wholeheartedly with your post. It has been stunning to me to see how easily this whole lockdown has been implemented. Stoke the fear and ‘the brave’ in ‘the land of the free’ roll over. From Benito Cuomo to your neighborhood Mrs. Kravitz ratting out you having a beer on your deck with a couple buddies, this is bringing out the inner Stasi in all the lots of people.

So easy. And good luck putting this fascist toothpaste back in the tube. Liberty lost is rarely regained.

Well, bless you for hanging on to it. There was a lot said back in the day on FR, Like Soul of the South’s long list of what flyover folks won’t stand for but for some reason were immune or ignorant of the gradual increase in the water temp of the pot they called home.

Speaking of wake up calls. That list ought to speak volumes to anyone who calls themselves a true believer in the Constitution of the United States of America.

Frankly that list ought to be pasted on the inside of every exit door in our homes as well as the front of the refrigerator and every TV screen in the house.

That list was pretty much the combined effort of a number of Congresses the citizens who voted them into public service, the Supreme Court of the United States both, Political Parties, a veritable host of unconstitutional bureaucratic government agencies, and even many I have not included.

We stand condemned by the list of our own making despite years of fighting to preserve the Constitution we have clearly been fighting what so far has been a losing battle. We have two or three choices as I see it.

Keep fighting the fight in hopes of a turnaround.

Give it up and rollover, but then the appearance is that is what we have been doing

Keep fighting with the knowledge that only God can win this one and pray mightily for the return of Jesus Christ who has promised to fight our battles and will keep us from having to go to war against our own.
