The St. Louis Fed projected on Monday the US unemployment rate during the coronavirus panic could reach 32% unemployment — higher than the Great Depression!
The St. Louis Fed estimated that 42 million Americans could lose their jobs.
A man-made depression is coming.

I have noticed something. Fauci the Great comes out and says crap like this, and I paraphrase:

Here is an idea. Why not just admit what the current data tells us and say: AND THE REST IS UNKOWN AND WE JUST CAN’T SAY. How about stopping the Stephen King thingy of horror projection and say that you just have no clue. How about telling the truth: We are going to go about this preparing for the absolute worst.
The other thing I notice is this little trick.
Fauci Il Duce’s projections are sacrosanct. Any projection of the collateral damage is “fantasy” “fiction” etc. and to be dismissed.
Trump needs to dump this guy as soon as possible. Well, not dump, but isolate. Fauci the functionary is sure good at the Stephen King stuff, because it perpetuates the problem. It is in his nature to perpetuate because he is a functionary that lives to prolong problems and make egg head presentations instead of focusing on the solutions.
To wit: There is no isolation and lockdown measure that Dr. Fauci the Funcionary has ever heard of that shouldn’t be done like, yesterday.
But a treatment?!?! Well, that needs to be studied and carefully considered and slow walked and downplayed and sat on. The solutions? Not so much. The problems, more please!!!
By this weekend we should have a pretty good idea of how things will be in the near future.

We probably have 30 million illegals in this country, the number of H1Bs is probably over 3 million and no telling how many visa overstays we have. We’re feeding too many foreigners that bear us no goodwill.

Well the doctors are pretty much running the show now and have Trump boxed in politically. If they say to keep the economy closed and Trump reopens it to save jobs but kills grandma, the Dems will attack.
So we’ll just have to deal with another Great Depression. Just hope Americans understand that’s what’s coming. I don’t think they do.
I was cautiously optimistic that we could salvage a decent economy if things got rolling by Easter. Once Trump said April 30, any bit of optimism I held went out the window.
