A top medical executive at a Buffalo hospital was fired this weekend after demanding that supporters of President Donald Trump renounce ventilators if they become critically ill with coronavirus.
In a Facebook exchange, Laura Krolczyk, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's now former vice president for external affairs, wrote, "Trump supporters need to pledge to give up their ventilators for someone else ... and not go to the hospital."
Krolczyk also said Trump supporters should "barricade themselves" inside churches to ride out the coronavirus.
"Also don't cash your stimulus check. It's all a hoax. Chew some ibuprofen and be on with your day," Krolczyk wrote of Trump supporters.
Krolczyk was initially placed on administrative leave, but was later terminated over the comments, according to the Buffalo News.
Roswell Park released the following statement announcing Krolczyk's termination, WGRZ-TV reported:
This employee was terminated today [Saturday] after our Human Resources team concluded its investigation. We followed standard procedure, which required that we gather and verify relevant information before taking any disciplinary action.
Dr. Johnson and her team responded with swift and appropriate action. We have always been and continue to be a center serving everyone who needs us. That is core to our mission, our culture and the experience our patients and families can expect every day.
This behavior is not tolerated at Roswell Park. If any team members act in a way that does not accord with that commitment, we will take swift and appropriate action, just as we did in this instance. Krolczyk earned $226,580 in compensation in 2019, the Buffalo News reported.
Krolczyk previously worked for Hillary Clinton and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).
I’m thinking Trump Derangement Syndrome is a mental disease, wonder if it is caused by a virus related to Covid-19 since someone those infected end up on ventilators.
they know that after this..their globalist. socialist, open boarders dreams are toast...
I have no words to use for this without getting banned
A primary symptom of TDS is Anger....
As a kid in a public skool near Buffalo in the 50s/60s we got annual Roswell lectures about not smoking, Plenty of bloody pics of cancerous lungs.
It worked for me.
Even if she was using her personal Facebook profile and she did it during her own time, the problem was that she represented the hospital she worked for and Facebook is public so anyone can see her posts. Obviously, the hospital did not share her values so they had to fire her. Should had posted elsewhere anonymously (twitter or reddit?)
Once again, we see who the real haters are.
Yeah, I saw that too - political hack job.
A director of government relations for the hospital. Wow.
I can’t imagine a Republican saying this, or shooting up a baseball practice, or attacking a neighbor in his own yard. Republicans are no angels, but they have a basic sense of decency that Democrats decidedly do not.
This fool suffered from the infamous “Clinton/Gillibrand Curse”. Hope it strikes other hate-Trump fools, esp. in the media.
Karma’s a bitch and when she’s angry, she can work well.

Looks like she maybe took the hypocrite’s oath instead of that Hippocratic one...
There is no cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). With some luck, we’ll come up with a vaccine.
She's angry because President Trump ensured that they would have more ventilators than they would possibly need, and ensured that Trumpicillin (HCQ.Zpack) would start flowing so that fewer people would need ventilators to begin with.
Boy, if that doesn't just grind your gears! How dare he MAWA.
TDS is a progressive madness that if the thirst for revenge is not quenched, it deepens at a faster rate than if not given enough blood. Once this madness is initiated to this degree only professional help can interrupt the eventual patient self-caused termination.
Hey Ms. Krolczyk how does it feel to be unemployed by THE DEPLORABLES?
If I am on FB and I have settings such that only my friends can see what I post, and I intentionally exclude non-friends and my utterances STILL get me fired, I have a mixed problem with that.
Mixed because 1) FB isn't exactly private. If your profile is YOUR ACTUAL profile and you say x, then don't be surprised if x gets a rise out of people. 2) Unless your employer has an explicit social media policy that covers your private FB or LinkedIn or other places where your name is public, firing you because of an utterance on FB seems un-kosher.
If this woman was a Deplorable who worked for the Trump campaign, and was fired because she said on FB she hopes all Antifa and #NotMyPresident types were denied a stimulus check and hospitalization if they lacked healthcare coverage, I bet many people here cheering for her firing would change their tune.
