Researchers at Stanford University have said their data shows the U.S. is on track for a much faster recovery than some health experts are predicting. One America's Pearson Sharp has more.
I predict that as many as 330,000,000 Americans will die from the Chinese Communist Virus.
To be sure, I want to know the credentials of the person about to cut me open. Harvard Medical School...yes; The Guano School of Medicine in Venezuela...not so much.
But the wide estimation error I've seen from this and that researcher and biostatistician, the misuse of statistics and terms like R0 and exponential vs logistic growth, and then the background check results of "experts" like Fauci (he's good many times then a hysterics at other times and then he's written a love letter to Hillary and whined about funding during Ebola when he missetimated the risk....he's a bureaucrat looking to get good finding once this had blown over IMHO) have left me distrusting every degreed person waving some analysis done in R, Python, or SAS.

Yeah, that information isn’t being provided at this time. It’s also possible other flus had a head start over COVID-19 in the US, so we’re back to the possible lagging indicators some have been preaching.
Testing just started in the last two weeks. We’re are not looking at a real curve. It’s just media overhype. Hospitalization and deaths are the only measurables that mean anything and it’s a 1-3 week lag from when those individuals were exposed.
In NY both new intubation and hospital releases show favorable trends.
Deaths are a trailing indicator.
