This isn’t an Armageddon event - no one says so.
If we do NOTHING about it, it ends up like the Spanish flu - which hit 25% of the population and killed 2.5%
You want to go back to offices, restaurants, etc. and congregate. GO AHEAD. It will end up killing let’s say 1% of the population - that’s 3 million dead.

Who the HELL compares a flu which spread in 1918...102 years ago considering the care available then with this thing which has already shown it can be helped by known medications which not only alleviate the symptoms but actually stop the virus from replicating in the host.
You’re all the same, tout the worst case scenario and make believe nothing is being done to mitigate the effects.
Meanwhile ignore the 30,000 (and counting) dead from the over 35,000,000 infected just here in America by the everyday flu and don’t mention and never did at this level of hysteria this one.

I was 15 at the time and can’t remember ANY hysteria, none, zip, nada. I spoke to my brother (15 yrs older than me) and he can’t either.
So WHY is this portrayed as a world ending calamity? Why?
