Remember that 10% (out of which you got the 0.2%) would need hospitalization. And that 9.8% aren’t with high risk factors (or may be). So you isolate 10 million 20 to 40 year olds. You add to that the 50 million 60+1.
Oh and another 10 million odd 40 to 60s. Now you want to isolate 70 million people.

You cannot conceivably isolate just “risk groups” because single members of a family might be in a “risk group”. For example, a person who has asthma lives with members of a family who don’t, do you take that person away from their family or do you simply have the family stay home?
you’re able to go for a walk, go to the stores that are open for things we deem necessary, etc. But we can’t have a social gathering or go to a theme park or places like that. For now, it’s okay. We’re talking 6 weeks, not a life time. I think “total lockdown”, at least for where I live, is a misnomer.
A 6 week lockdown is unrealistic because we will constantly be re-igniting the spread right after restrictions are lifted (after we’ve all wasted the 6 weeks sitting around doing nothing).
Everytime some infected person from Mexico (or anywhere else) enters the country (it will run wild in Mexico and other countries for the next 12 months), bammo - another 4-6 week lockdown.
There are ONLY TWO ways to stop the spread of a virulent virus, that the rest of the world has, 1) shut the borders/shut everything down for 12 months (and then we are all still susceptible to it) - not gonna happen or 2) let the healthy get it and rely on herd immunity to extinguish each new ignition source - What smart countries are doing.
Over 5 years, less people die in the herd immunity scenario. Next year, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Mexico and Sweden won’t worry about Coronavirus.
That rate is nowhere close to 2%. Iim saying when all is said and done it will be .1 or less.

I notice that you've pivoted from him influencing the FDA, which I think is unlikely and would be ill advised even if he could, to him influencing public opinion.
I'm all for him influencing opinion and I'm all for doctors prescribing the drug regimen. What I think is dangerous is for the FDA to say something is safe and effective without the data to back it up.
It isn't enough for you that the FDA isn't even trying to discourage the use for Covid-19. They're leaving it up to the doctors.
