I’m near a high-outbreak area (Santa Clara county in the SF Bay Area) and my husband and I think we may have had it in mid-late Feb. We both had weeks of dry coughing and there was one odd night where I had fever and chills and I haven’t had a fever in 25 years or more. And diarrhea the day after the fever and chills.
And neither of our teens got it (or showed any symptoms anyway) which seems typical.
You know, I have heard from a number of people here that they think they might have had it, because they had a very unusual illness during this time frame. But in every case related thus far, except for one fellow who thinks he had it Hawaii, the cases were relatively mild. And none, that I have heard anyway, we’re actually tested and diagnosed cases.
I think I had it too in early Feb and an 83 year old friend of mine had all the classic symptoms. She’s fine now.
