New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Saturday that government-mandated travel restrictions on his state would be a federal act of war.
He also said he is willing to sue Rhode Island for implementing a policy requiring visitors from New York to self-quarantine for 14 days in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.

To be fair, if you have to be intubated, it’s almost certainly because you have ARDS, and that alone is, ahem, not good.
I’m not going to pass on the anecdotal experience of a single doctor, but the survival rate from the Lancet article is substantially better than what she reported.
This ain’t the flu.

Actually, it's close to one every 9 minutes, now. (155 deaths today, in NY. That's approaching 2/3 the number of flu deaths on an average flu season day in an average flu year (last 10 years considered), in the
entire USA.)
That said, point taken. If Cuomo really needs 37k ventilators above existing capacity in NY, then this thing is really bad, and he can't argue against a quarantine.

The bombing on the governors house begins in five minutes. A waste of perfectly good ordnance.
Send the SpecOps guys in.
Any resistance at all and he comes out with several broken bones and a few organs destroyed without benefit of anesthesia (spleen, both testicles, one kidney, one lung, one eye, both inner ears, etc.).
Arrest him for insurrection and sedition.
Lock him up in solitary in a Federal facility with no bail until the trial is finished and he is sentenced.

I really do believe the TDS has made every Dem lose their minds. It’s like none of them can think straight.

Maybe because he doesn't want to call media attention to the state that is better run than his but also is losing his citizens to FL?

Nope 8>), we go with Republicans in national elections (overwhelming for President Trump). Our State Legislature is 27 Republican Senators to 12 Democrat Senators, House is 68 Republican, 36 Democrat, and 2 independents.
U.S. House Representatives are:
Garret Graves 2015-present Republican
Ralph Abraham 2015-present Republican
Clay Higgins 2017-present Republican
Mike Johnson 2017-present Republican
U.S. Senators are:
Bill Cassidy (R)
John Kennedy (R)

Don’t you have a Baton Rouge in Louisiana? :)

We have a New Orleans and other pockets as well, but that is true of almost every major city in the U.S. We still elect mostly conservatives. New York is dominated by New York City, so conservatives cannot be elected. Except in a few locales not within New York City. They are a sanctuary state. That makes them a rouge state. We only have rouge areas. 8>)
Now Oklahoma is an even more staunch conservative stronghold. That I will concede. But you still have areas that present some close calls for sure, like Oklahoma County. 8>)

Wait, wait... Work with me here, please.
Is there a city in Louisiana called Baton Rouge?

Well you know there is, it is french for red stick, and it is the state’s capitol.
To: Robert DeLong
Yes, actually I had a most enjoyable visit there back in... 1995, IIRC. It was business though and I didn’t get to stay for long.
Anyway, if Louisiana has the city of Baton Rouge in it, and it is in fact the state capitol, then that makes Louisiana a rouge state then, doesn’t it?
