If he thought an overwhelming majority of Americans were happy with the idea of eating horse crap for lunch, he’d be up there on national television telling everyone how great/incredible/wonderful/fantastic it is.

His behavior indicates otherwise; you would do yourself a favor by paying closer attention. Some of your posts have made sense but in this case you are blowing smoke.

Go back and look at Trump’s track record on this one. His first instincts were correct — when he was telling people to calm down and just prepare for something that might be comparable to a bad flu season.
