On March 19, we published a story about a trial study conducted by French researchers which showed a combination of Hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) and Azithromycin to be effective in the treatment of COVID-19 patients. The study, which was led by renowned Didier Raoult M.D/Ph.D, et. al in France, showed that 100% of patients that received a combination of the two anti-malaria drugs tested negative and were virologically cured within 6 days of treatment. The first preliminary trial involved a total of 36 COVID-19 patients. However, U.S. health agencies like FDA and CDA, are still very cautious about the effectiveness and safety of the two drugs due to small trial size and lack of sufficient data.
Today, however, Prof. Didier Raoult and his team published results of their new study. The study was supported by the Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection. Unlike the previous small study trial, the new observation study has a larger sample size of 80 COVID-19 patients. The objective of the study was to find an effective treatment to cure COVID-19 patients and to decrease the virus carriage duration.
In 80 in-patients receiving a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, the team found a clinical improvement in all but one 86 year-old patient who died, and one 74-year old patient still in intensive care unit. The team also found that, by administering hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycin, they were able to observe an improvement in all cases, except in one patient who arrived with an advanced form, who was over the age of 86, and in whom the evolution was irreversible, according to a new paper published today in IHU Méditerranée Infection.

No - but hopefully it’s a go on prescription hydroxychloroquine, acting as an extremely good zinc ionophore.
This zinc ionophore creates a zinc gateway in infected cells where the virus has docked at ACE2 receptors.
The zinc gateway allows more zinc into the cell, which previous peer-reviewed studies have clearly shown has the effect of stopping virus replicase within the cell.
No replicase, no spread.

The FDA original mission WAS to ensure aa drug was safe for human consumption.
The FDA has taken upon itself to decide if a drug is effective.
That was never its role.
Let the doctors and patients decide what is or isn’t to be used.
Zinc is a generally good supplement. Don't know that I would increase the dosage, since the extra won't really do anything for your body - and could cause harm over the long term.
There isn't any real way to get extra zinc into your cells without a zinc ionophore. Just taking extra zinc won't accomplish it.
Not to disparage the deaths directly, but the bigger concern with this virus is the risk of overwhelming the health care system. At which point deaths from lots of things sky rocket. If you can cut the time needing a ventilator in half that’s functionally the same as doubling your supply of ventilators and the staff to operate them. Cutting the amount of time in the hospital is like having more hospital beds. Treat early cases, like Rand Paul, and you may prevent hospitalization altogether and return them to work in a week. If you can find enough drug to go around and the anti-Trump governors will let you use it. It’s a game changer, a panic ender and an election winner.

Your response is meaningless. He’s the “Bug God” doesn’t answer the question posed. Nor does anything you copied and pasted.
Follow the thread and then give your own answer which specifically addresses the issue. Citing Fauci or any authoritative person is fine provided it specifically addresses the questions posed.
Simply copying and pasting something from the net isn’t an acceptable response to specific questions/issues.
It is a zinc ionophore. If you are deficient zinc supplementation at the time of therapy will effect the result you desire.
It absolutely must be tested with zinc!
We don’t want to lose you, girl, so work on your immune system, up the D3, take a multiVit with zinc, take a selenium supplement, and drink lots of cranapple juice. There are alternative zinc ionophores besides hydroxychloroquine.
