I have not heard if the Ky Guard will be armed or if rules of engagement ordered. To my knowledge there have been no Wuhan virus related violence in Kentucky hospitals. The governor appears to be deploying troops and is trying to diminish the shock of the appearance of boots on the ground.

Why is a gun hater, bringing in probable National Guard people with guns? To remove the guns from a citizenry he believes shouldn't have them and to keep the prisoners they are releasing safe when they start committing crimes on the citizenry.

2) The seasonal flu is not as deadly
3) Much of the population is immune or resistant to it as has been around many, many years and due to the fact there is an annual vaccine for it which a significant portion of the population gets, including nearly all healthcare workers.
Kind of a significant difference. Facts matter.
