President Trump slammed Representative Thomas Massie (R., Ky.) on Friday for saying he would vote against the Senates $2-trillion coronavirus relief package, calling him a third rate Grandstander who just wants the publicity and saying he should be kicked out of the GOP. Trump, who called it HELL to work with Democrats, also admitted Republicans had to give up some stupid things in order to get the big picture done. Trump then added that the Kentucky Republican is empowering the Radical Left Democrats and is a disaster for America, and for the Great State of Kentucky! According to Politico, Massie reportedly reached out to Trump on Friday morning, but it remains unclear if they connected.

I would start with Massie, but I certainly wouldn’t stop with him.
See.
Trump doesn’t have sycophant supporters because his supporters will tell him when he is wrong in a dead stupid way.
Like now.
He is not wrong now. There are people who are seriously hurting and Massey picks now to pretend he is concerned about some rule.
I agree with Massie. Shame on McConnell, Repugnants, demonRats, et al. who have porked up this bill instead of putting the focus where it truly belongs—getting emergency help to American citizens and businesses.
This is what has happened each and every time, time and again, when an emergency bill is needed. It gets porked up to the hilt, and then when someone takes a stand, Massie in this case, he/they get pulverized. Sorry, don’t agree with Trump this time.

$2 trillion (Congress)
+$4 trillion (Fed & Treasury)
$6 trillion divided by 350 million citizens = $17,000 per citizen
times a family of 4
=$68,000 per family of new national debt and dollar devaluation in this stimulus.
not a good deal

The senate did some voodoo just like with Obamacare. Took a House Bill (HR 748) dealing with taxes, stripped every word, and put their bill in it. The House is just as responsible for killing the origination clause as the Senate. It’s the House’s job to reject the process.

US Constitution
ARTICLE I, SECTION 5, CLAUSE 1
Quorum requirement:
Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business;
cboldt: Separately from the House gearing up to do business without a quorum, President Trump is about to order GM and Ford to make ventilators. His stress level ... high.
I think it would be wise to sit and think about they are doing...that Trump Curse is a killer I hear...
If your wondering about it, Gen. Kelly; Bolton; Bannon; Spicer, and on and on...
Sarah and Hope are the two I know of that are well respected by Our President...
Yep, sit and think before you do or say, you may have a job and you may not...
By the time we read this I’m betting it’s sorted. The guy is right but the rats have huge leverage so we are stuck allowing this pig in our house. If you think MSM has lost its power this is your wake up call. Early on Trump tried to keep the hysteria from bringing the country to its knees but it became real obvious real fast they would use it to crucify him.
Massie has a wholly solar powered house, how he got elected in coal country of Kentucky is a mystery.
Kabuki Theater.
You are absolutely correct. I went to the White House website and pleaded my case for President Trump to veto but I guess I wasted my time.
Trump needs to VETO this bill and demand a new bill with NO BALLOT HARVESTING.
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Looks like a third rate Grandstander named @RepThomasMassie
, a Congressman from, unfortunately, a truly GREAT State, Kentucky, wants to vote against the new Save Our Workers Bill in Congress. He just wants the publicity. He cant stop it, only delay, which is both dangerous......
...& costly. Workers & small businesses need money now in order to survive. Virus wasnt their fault. It is HELL dealing with the Dems, had to give up some stupid things in order to get the big picture done. 90% GREAT! WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!

Agreed.. Rep Massie is a principled libertarian, CONSERVATIVE and deserves respect, even if he is in opposition. Pres. Trump is doing the job he needs to do, but in this instance, he should have just said he respected Rep. Massie’s adherence to his convictions. It’s not like the Congress is going to listen to Massie anyway, as the dems say, why waste a good catastrophe?!!!
Agreed! This bill needs to be thrown out and a clean bill passed!
Normalize voter fraud and the entire country will go full Commie so fast it will make your head spin.
“...reached out...”

Usually a puffed up way of saying “emailed”.
What right does Massie have to say Pelosi is not in charge of this country? That is the Republicans job?
Trump’s response is overblown. The price tag is likely too high. Yet Massey could have picked other, better items to complain about, like 300 million dollars to refugees and assorted other pork. Why is it a good idea to encourage refugees to enter the country during a pandemic? If there was ever an excuse to bar refugees it’s during a pandemic. Much of this pork had nothing to do with helping Americans not get sick and die.
Exactly right. This is how you lose your conservative base.
