Republican and Democratic senators unanimously voted to pass a coronavirus relief bill late Wednesday that gives $350,000,000 to assist refugees and migrants.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that House Speaker Nancy Pelosis relief package would include $300,000,000 for refugee assistance.
The new bill, approved by the Senate and now headed to the House, includes an additional $50 million on top of Pelosis initial $300 million for refugees.
On page 817 of the 880-page bill, the measure calls for an additional amount for Migration and Refugee Assistance, $350,000,000, to remain available until expended, to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.

“....Chuck Schumer stripped out the funding for Strategic Petroleum Reserve purchases.....”
That SOB should have been already rotting in a prison cell, not stripping good legislation, after threatening those Supreme Court justices like that.
The vile, demonic Botoxian should be on it’s way back to hell about now. It can’t happen fast enough....whadda POS.
Let’s see if this survives reconciliation before getting upset about it,
Why are you all so shocked? McConnell and many Repukes in Congress answer to the same Deep State masters the RATs do. We will never get enough of the kind of conservatives there to change things profoundly so I take whatever victories we can get, but knowing its going to mean eating a lot of crap sandwiches too. We always hope to get elected Republicans who emulate Devin Nunes, but too many of them are bought off globalist cowards like McConnell. Reality sucks!
Ok, if we don’t want this to happen again (?)....you know who to vote for this Fall.
Thick as thieves, they All are.
This bill stinks on ice. Worse than the Bush and Obama rubbish bailouts.

Lovely. (sarcasm)
The Supreme Court ruled the line item veto to be unconstitutional in 1998. With Pelosi in charge of the House there is no way a new bill could pass to give that power to President Trump.
this thread needs to be poofed on the grounds of sheer embarrassment.
Oh wow, the Dow went up from a bottom. Barely above 2016 level. Long way to go to get back to 29000.
What is with those like you that defend everything. Sure you supported Bush, McCain, Romney, etc against us ‘negative 1998rs”.
“DAMN THEM TO HELL”
I hope every single swingin d*ck one of them get the virus and die a horrible, protracted painful death.
$350,000,000.00 / $2,000,000,000,000 = 0.018%
The numbers are so huge, you lose sight of the fact that $350 million is less than two hundredths of one percent of the whole fiasco.
I will see your 90 FRiend, and raise you the post at 70.
The elites in DC obviously believe that we, the citizens, have some never ending source of money we can dip into - to give to them.
May God guide and strengthen us.
Here’s the way I see it, and I could be wrong, but maybe not.
The Rs and Ds seemingly had a good deal until Nanzi rode into town. Nanzi added her poison pork. Now, who suffers if the new poison deal is not accepted? Not the dems. They want the country to continue in decline and the president knows this. They’d be delighted to have the Rs refuse to sign the deal and with their cohorts in the media, it would all be played out as the Rs fault and all hell would have broken loose.
There was no way that the Ds weren’t going to get SOME of their goodies. It sounds like they were trying to get a lot more than they did, but the Rs got it down the best they could. I suspect the Ds were somewhat disappointed that the bill passed at all, even with the goodies they got.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them are mad enough that it passed and they put the screws to it tomorrow. Sinking the president is their top priority, and the Rs know this. If this didn’t get done, it’s quite likely the president was kissing a second term goodbye, thanks to the media covering for the vile Ds.
Honestly, the Ds are so evil, and so petrified of another Trump term, I shudder to think what they have up their sleeves for their next attempt.
How much for the wall to protect us from diseased migrants?
Fear mongering is sad. Get some perspective and check history. Pandenic my ass. Now thats WAAAAAAY out of line.
Besides, what are yoh going to do about it panicky jerk.
thats been pointed out already. there is zero common sense to be found in this stink bomb of a thread.
“ITS JUST A FREAKIN FLU THAT HAS KILLED LESS THAN 3 PERCENT OF RUGULAR FLU DEATHS!”
He’d risk not getting reelected if he didn’t sign the bill.
Too bad Trump cant do a line-item veto.
