Three Republican senators said they will oppose the massive stimulus package aimed at helping to offset losses suffered during the CCP virus pandemic unless a drafting error is fixed in the legislation, saying that the issue will provide businesses with an incentive to lay off employees.
A massive drafting error in the current version of the coronavirus relief legislation could have devastating consequences: Unless this bill is fixed, there is a strong incentive for employees to be laid off instead of going to work, Sens. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a joint statement on Wednesday afternoon. This isnt an abstract, philosophical pointits an immediate, real-world problem.
The Epoch Times refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Partys coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China before it was transmitted worldwide.

They deliberately put it in there so the RINOs could beat their chests and say "see, we didn't let them get away with it," then sign the pork-laden monstrosity in triumph.
Force all of Congress into session to vote on this bill. Nuke the Capital Building while they’re voting. I’ve lost my patience.
wait til Nancy adds her prohibition to States requiring Voter ID.
We wont know whats in it until we read it .......Nancy Pelosi on ObamaCare
An intentional mistake to lay blame.
Good thing the American people have infinite patience and will tolerate anything. They can take as long as they want.
Sure they will. Cavers as usual.
Why does Nancy even care about this bill? Every new dead person will automatically vote Rat in November.
“Force all of Congress into session to vote on this bill. Nuke the Capital Building while theyre voting. Ive lost my patience.”
Think of the advantages to the world if this occured.
1: Higher IQ - no, make that much high IQ - in the country.
2. Graft, corruption, money laundering, insider trading, and slime reduced by a factor of 99.9999999999%.
3. The few congresscritters not in DC can go to other low IQ jobs - such as the media (where a lot of ex ones are) and Hollywood.
4. Fewer fugly faces on TV.
And that’s just 4 of N, where N is really really big.
;-)
Can these congress-losers get any more arrogant and disgusting ? Wait until tomorrow . ..pathetic .
“We have to pass it to know what’s in it.” —Nancy Pelosi
I dont understand...whats the incentive for businesses to lay off their employees?
The week long wrangling over the money, combined with Senate members being privy to covid19 info before the rest of America tells me all I need to know. This is a media orchestrated panic designed to short the market, screw Trump, and grow the government. Trump is using this to rip out Chinas control over US and empower US manufacturing. This will be over sooner than anyone thinks. I personally think some memo between DNC and Media will surface revealing the whole sham.
Kill the trillions of dollars. There is no free lunch. Early testing, $40 drug protocol. Billions not trillions.
The government will pay their laid-off employees their full salaries for three months up to $1100 a week.
The Indian tech lobby has a 500,000 H1B and H4EAD gift inserted in this bill to to help these foreign scabs. The visa is automatically extended for 1 year.
When they lose jobs they can now also remain in the US and have priority in hiring over Americans.
Fugetaboudit. Open up everything and get to back to work. This has that has revealed the utter fecklessness of America today. Our House and Senate cannot be trusted to write 1000+ page bills that hand out our money without handing much of it to their cronies who dont need it. Get them away from the cash drawer.
We would be better off sending receipts for our missed wages as proof that we have a job to the IRS and let them take that missed paycheck off our taxes, or give us a refund if we’ve already paid up.
Just heard congress wrote themselves a raise as well.
If I heard it correctly, there is a provision that would pay people up to 100% of lost salary (max $1,100 per week) for four months. Effectively, businesses large and small could furlough most of their staff for that long without harming the individual worker nor the businesses' unemployment insurance history.
