Joe Scarborough comments on the president's latest briefing on the coronavirus outbreak, calling the announcement of using a malaria drug for treatment another "overpromise" from the administration.

This treatment has been used in conjunction with Azithromycin (Z Pack,or IV) in South Korea, France and Germany.
Preliminary results indicate it has good efficacy. Of course our FDA will take months and months to approve it, just like they will do Remdesivir.
Months to approve huh......
I say let’s infect upper staff at the FDA and then ask that question
>>Of course our FDA will take months and months to approve it, just like they will do Remdesivir.<<
Under most Presidents, possibly. Under Trump, I think they’ll find they’re capable of making decisions much faster than normal.
A Stanford medical advisor was on Fox last night talking about the results of a study out of France.

Joe Scarborough already has the “virus”. It is the MikaVirus”. Looks harmless on the outside like a street prostitute, but carries deadly diseases inside (mental illness, mental clap, adultery disease, stupidity Gene, and daughter of one of the worst presidential advisors in modern history, Brez).
Commie left hopes there is NEVER a cure for this virus, the more Americans that die, the more the stock market crashes, the more the left celebrates
These malaria drugs work by stopping the ability of malaria to reproduce in the body. When you go to an area where malaria is prevalent you start to take these drugs before you even get boots.down. we started a week before my unit went to Panama and keep taking them for a week after we returned in addition to the whole time we were there. They do not prevent malaria from entering your body via mosquitoes they allow your body time to kill it before it multiplies so much it’s out of control.
The effect on coronavirus is expected to be the same it works by removing or severely limiting the virus ability to replicate giving the body time to kill it while it is still small in numbers.
What they won’t say even if true is that if the mechanism is the same as malaria then they drugs would not only reverse a already infected case they would allow for the preventive use to stop the inital infection if taken prior to exposure and continuous while exposed just like their certified use in malaria hotzones. The pills keep you from actively presenting symptoms of malaria while you take them no matter how many infected mosquitoes bite you. That’s why you keep taking them after exposure for really two weeks to make sure you body killed all the stragglers.
They won’t say they found a preventive became there is no way to meet demand for 330 million people all at once. The military would be immediately put on them though to protect combat readiness.
I forgot to answer the original question. If they drugs work on the same mechanism as malaria then POTUS and his family would be continuously taking them to prevent infection setting in. With malaria you cannot avoid inoculation you can continuously take these drugs to prevent infection from that inoculation. If the effect is the same then they just found the way to make important people effectively immune while on the activr dosing. This is exactly how these drugs work for malaria exposure.
Not just the military, but if it proves effective, you’ll see the doctors, nurses and paramedics taking hydrochloroquine regularly. Hospital staff can’t afford to self-quarantine for 14 days every time they are exposed.
A very, very good thing
‘I said “strane times and the regular flu is goring crazy”
I would have said “beg pardon?...”
Yes, just saw this on AOL banner, it says” FDA shuts down Trumps claim on treatement for virus”
When you click on the story it says no such thing, just what was said at press conference that they, fDA< want to see more data etc. https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-us/suite
Does anyone know how to write whoever is writing these banner headline ads on AOL? I would write them and tell them how misleading their banner is
“Why would the President or his family, etc. take these drugs? They are for treatment of the virus, not a vaccine. Or maybe I dont understand your question.”
Yes you misunderstand. I’m asking why the coverage of this potential breakthrough is not being covered by the media or is being spun as negative.
Months to approve huh......
I say lets infect upper staff at the FDA and then ask that question
the art of the deal....negotiate from strength
IrishB Typo “ not strane but strange times...
I said strane times and the regular flu is goring crazy
I would have said beg pardon?...
“Does anyone know how to write whoever is writing these banner headline ads on AOL? I would write them and tell them how misleading their banner is”
It would probably make them feel proud of doing such a good job of it.
For sure the order of importance if this malaria drug is preventative would be, critical military read nuclear missile subs, missile silos,SAC pilots ect ,high level government officials executive at the Secretary and up, ll of congress ,SCOTUS, then doctors, nurses, paramedics, law enforcement, fire, then critical infrastructure power grid, water plant, sewage workers. Way way down the list is joe plumber and us deplorables.
