Stuck rationing toilet paper because you didn't stockpile during the coronavirus panic over the last few days? Don't worry, according to supply chain experts.
"All the grocery stores are going to have pallets of toilet paper sitting in the aisles and nobody is going to buy it because who needs to buy toilet paper when you got a year's worth sitting in your garage," Daniel Stanton, a supply chain expert and author of "Supply Chain Management for Dummies," tells CNBC Make It. But what about food? Even if the COVID-19 pandemic stretches over months (President Donald Trump said it could last until August), there will no big food shortages, especially on staples like milk, eggs, cheese, bread and meat, according to three supply chain experts who spoke to Make It.

I’ve been trying to figure that out, too. People seem to think that they are going to be locked in their homes for 2-3 months with no ability to receive deliveries.
Ramped up production this quarter only results in lost production in June, July, and August.

And every loaf of bread is gone. Suddenly, no one has any gluten allergies.
Last Saturday while shopping at our local Raley’s, a male customer with a very loud voice while using some Navy/Marine words made that comment. There was zero types of any bread.
Our pickup order from Walmart yesterday limited us to 2 packs of Ora Wheat Sandwich thins and 1 loaf of whole wheat bread.

most people i know would not know what to do with flour! Nobody really bakes or cooks anymore. ( I do!)

The “reasoning” is that you wouldn’t be able to get to buy some if a quarantine is imposed and you get stuck at home.

I was a little nervous going to the store this morning. I thought I was going to find nothing on the shelves. The only thing I couldn’t find was decent meat. I don’t eat prepared food, I’m celiac. dont need toilet paper and I dont use many paper products. Almost like a regular day for me.
Half of it has gone sour.
