Stuck rationing toilet paper because you didn't stockpile during the coronavirus panic over the last few days? Don't worry, according to supply chain experts.
"All the grocery stores are going to have pallets of toilet paper sitting in the aisles and nobody is going to buy it because who needs to buy toilet paper when you got a year's worth sitting in your garage," Daniel Stanton, a supply chain expert and author of "Supply Chain Management for Dummies," tells CNBC Make It. But what about food? Even if the COVID-19 pandemic stretches over months (President Donald Trump said it could last until August), there will no big food shortages, especially on staples like milk, eggs, cheese, bread and meat, according to three supply chain experts who spoke to Make It.

My Mother taught me to bake when I was just a kid, still bake my own bread, cinnamon rolls, pies, etc.
Most folks have gotten soft, lazy, and stupid; they all believe that somebody else (government) will come along and bail them out of trouble they mostly made for themselves.
I always keep a fully stocked pantry; sugar(50 pounds), flour(50 pounds), rice(50 pounds), dry beans(50 pounds), you get the idea.
When you live as far out in nowhere as I do, going to the store is just a pain in the neck.
And recipe (dot)com and goodeats(dot)com, too..
I just sit on the front porch and wait for those stupid deer to come in to eat my vegetable garden.
Fresh venison, canned venison, jerked venison, all you can eat; and my boys and girls just love the scraps and bones.
I know.. I meant mineral oil.. Ugh. My aging brain.
I have some 12 yr old mineral oil in the garage just in case I needed it for eggs.
I bought some TP my husband didn’t approve of (I’m not particular), so we’re using it in lieu of tissue for nose-blowing, allergy sniffles, etc.
Good thing we’re home alone because having rolls of toilet paper sitting all around the house looks pretty strange. :)
ConservaTeen and his siblings loves to cook... They love watching MasterChef Junior. It’s amazing what kids can create...

Yes, the syrup section was empty in the store I went to this morning. I figured a lot of people were making family breakfasts now.

It was an easy guess as in many places the Waffle Houses are likely closed or have limited business.
Shootings at Waffle Houses are likely down too...

I would guess that most are like me with only a few months supply at normal useage rates. But not enough eggs.
I have had to us it a few years ago when I got sick. It was nice to have.
In town yesterday (had to relocate a pesky raccoon) and it was weird; seeing the food places with just a few cars in the lot.
Time for some humor in these glum times.

Wifey just picked up some eggs at Wal-Mart in Eastern NV - said there was the usual amount there. Still no paper, meat or many canned goods.
I kidded with the sales clerk, asking if she got combat pay. She said she should, as she nearly got into a fight with a customer over a case of water.
Another clerk told me they were getting people in from Las Vegas (80 mi away) and CA who said their area was cleaned out.
The lunacy continues.
