You don’t need a crowded church to talk to God.

. “Our church is a hospital where the sick can come and get healing. Cancers are healed here, people are healed of HIV in these services, and we believe that tonight, we’re also going to pass out anointed handkerchiefs to people who may have a fear, who may have a sickness, and we believe that when those anointed handkerchiefs go, that healing virtue is going to go on them as well.”

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

So the Pastor would welcome all the overflow from hospitals? Maybe right in the front row?

In general I agree with the Pastor’s stance. But you lose me when you say you are healing cancer. If so he should make a plea for anyone with symptoms to come to a service before going to the hospital.

So JimRob needs to take down the Rush Limbaugh prayer thread, since prayer doesn’t heal?

"The pastor, Rev. Tony Spell, says police showed up at the church after the service telling him the National Guard would break up any future services with more than 50 people gathered. Spell says 305 people attended the service in the sanctuary Tuesday night."

Really?? the Guard would be used against the parishioners? At that point all bets are off.

A governor who calls out the National Guard to disrupt a church service is finished as a politician

The bureaucrat who actually transmitted the threat is also finished

Throw this jerk-off in jail.

He can report on the virus hoax from the inside.
If he lives.

The Pastor says he is curing cancer. Why wouldn’t he be begging for those with covid symptoms to come to his service? If you went there would you go to a service with your family and sit in a row surrounded by patients who came from the hospital? No problem if they will be healed right there, correct?

I think a lot of infantile morons on this website are going to disappear or change their screen names in the coming months.

I’m ashamed at the hatred these psycho paranoids have for their fellow man. It’s something to see.

I’m sure Nero is rolling over in his grave right now.

“You mean I didn’t have to go through the trouble of persecuting those Christians? I could have just ended Christianity on the spot by telling all those devout people to stay home for their own good?”

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Do we have to go to a physical church for prayer to be effective?

We handed a check for $50k to our church after the mother-in-law passed. It was in the will, but the wily lady worked it out so her 2 kIds got the money, who then passed $25k each on to the church, and WE got the deduction. There’s a lot of that church-willing stuff going on out there. In this case, we were perfectly comfortable with the process because we were all involved in this particular church. (With the old Jimmy and Tammy Faye place just down the road, we were also familiar with how things like that go bad! You’re SC...so you remember Jim and Tammy Faye...)

"Man, the hatred you psycho paranoids have for the human race is something to behold."

And the stupidity of you religious fanatics is also something to behold. I thought Woody Jenkins had better sense. Anyone who attends these services needs to be put under home arrest for at least a month.

You and the pastor Go volunteer at a hospital in NYC if
the virus is nothing and to be ignored .

The pastor is a sleazy opportunist trying to build his dying church off this
Chinese virus situation .
