I’d especially avoid hospitals/clinics unless you absolutely have to go. Aside from catching whatever is going around, you could be just as likely handled in a tent or hallway - if they have time to see you at all.
But places where a bunch of people stand and/or sit next to each other for an 1-2 hours, such as a church, are prime spots to get infected.
The CDC will be actively monitoring all relevant data on this matter with frequent updates, and will allow American life to resume normally just as soon as...
...that data shows Joe Biden & all other Democrats winning handily in November.
“Good to see hes coming around and has dropped the just the flu talk.”

Yup. Like I sez, this is his best presser on the virus.
What we do know is that it spreads easily by contact and endangers the elderly the most....which is not unusual since it is a respiratory attack.
The Wuhan lab was advertising in Nov 2019 for postdocs to study how coronaviruses hide from the immune system.
This coronavirus has a cleavage center on the spike, which reacts with furin enzymes on human cells. The enzyme cuts open the spike, allowing the virus and human cell membrane to merge, so the virus can get into the cell.
This cleavage site is NOT found in the closely-related bat coronaviruses.
Guess where it *is* found? Ebola and AIDS among others.
Will see how well it goes after the demented of son of a bitch gets elected next November along with the witch of November as VP.
Because that will be the result of all this.
You never had any support for President Trump anyway.
My husband and I caught the flu a month ago. Fevers, horrible body aches, etc. He had gotten a flu shot earlier this year and I had not. The crazy thing about it was our 12 year old son was perfectly fine. We didn’t go to the doctor but it does make me wonder now if we had it or not.
I agree....CDC just likes to run numbers. They like doing surveys but overlook the obvious to make some other point. In other words, they suck at this.
Hope the crowd on here that wants this type of solution (and even thinks this isnt enough) are ready for what will come next. Sad times.
And if 10 million die....China doesn’t give a damn.
You could be right. About a month ago I took my son to the pediatrician and we began discussing the virus. At the time, I don’t even think it was going too crazy in Italy.
The doctor told me he had tested some 119 people for the flu. Of those people, only 20 had the flu. The others all had a virus he said he had never seen before (under a microscope) and just advised them that it was “just a virus” and to go home and rest/lots of fluids etc.
I firmly believe some of those could have been this bug.
I play video games so I’m at low risk.
Agreed.going to testing sites only increases that you can bring the virus home. There is no cure or vaccine for this.
First, was there an accidental release of a test sample of an engineered virus? And second, was this lab involved in biological warfare defense research on behest of the People's Liberation Army? If it's the second, then China could face MASSIVE sanctions for violation the 1973 international treaty banning the development and deployment of biological weapons.
How many people work with more than 10 people?
Could be. Have you ever read the Bioweaponeers by Richard Preston? If we believe Ken Alibek in that article, it’s clear the Soviets were working on some seriously f^cked up $hit.
When the defections began, even Alibek says who knows who went where carrying what.
That said, viruses are not good bio-weapons unless they’ve been SERIOUSLY modified. First, there’s the boomerang effect which can’t be understated in the absence of vaccinating your own people. Second, heat and light are two very big enemies of viral pathogens.
We’ll see. I admit it’s scary. But we’ve gotten through things that have been considerably worse. (at least thus far)
People need food. Think he was more referring to things not as essential to short term survival (i.e. bowling night).
I agree with you on the timeline. My wife and I both got what we assumed was the good, old-fashioned “flu” in December. I got through it OK, but she spent many days in bed. The most striking feature was how long it stuck with us: between 6 and 8 weeks. While we haven’t been tested and won’t be, we’re now pretty sure we had Wuhan.
I suspect they’ll be a lot more homeless people milling about.
As they have nowhere to go.
