Dr. Oz on Coronavirus: “This Has been Around. A Lot of People Had This and Didn’t Realize It. "

Television personality and practicing surgeon, Dr. Oz, joined FOX and Friends Weekend on Sunday for an hour to discuss the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

During the discussion Dr. Oz told the co-hosts President Trump should not have had the coronavirus test. “He didn’t fit the criteria. He didn’t show symptoms.”

Dr. Oz also explained that the virus is likely to have been in the US for months.

Dr. Oz: Now that he got tested without any symptoms why wouldn’t the average say, “Hey, just test me too!”… We don’t have enough units. We can’t get people tested who probably should be tested… If I had enough tests I would test every single American right now. You know why? Because it would give us epidemiologic data about what’s really happening. I am positive that I know people who were infected but didn’t realize it because it happened before coronavirus is here. There is someone I know who was actually at a party at the Oscars with the cast members of “Parasite” a Korean movie who got fevers, shortness of breath, fatigue. I have no idea if he had coronavirus or not. But he thinks he did. Now you hear these stories and you are like this has been around. A lot of people had this and didn’t realize it. 80% of people had very subtle symptoms. They had a fever most of the time but nothing that would catch your eye. And so we don’t actually know how long it’s been out there.

I don’t think he had evidence to say that. It’s an educated guess and he wouldn’t necessarily be this exact WARS Coronavirus.

He’s making a point that this is not the apocalyptic scenario it’s made out to be.

Believe my 27-year-old son had it in December. I had traveled to Europe/Italy/Cruised muah of November

They gave home every known test when he passed out at Urgent Care

That’s my feeling as well.
Another conclusion I have is; many if not most adults over 60 have some variant form of cancer within their body or bloodstream.
Most the time such cancer remains dormant, benign or is only temporal.

I just went through such a discovery about my own condition.
A small area of bladder cancer was seen in me some five years ago. I sought no direct treatment for it. Was asymptomatic. The latest tests do not show any cancer at all. No more Roto-Rooter biopsies for me! Yay!

He’s right. A family member - who lives in a port city with a lot of shipping from China - had a flu about a month ago, before they were testing for Wuhan flu. It was no fun. She was in bed one day, went to the doctor and was diagnosed with flu and got tamiflu, recovered within a week and is now worried (make that freaked out) about her income because of the shutdowns. I bet if they tested her, they’d find she had this current flu (actually, a coronavius which is in the same family as the common cold virus).
