Whatever it's doing is working. I want to socially distance myself having just seen at it.
Mine's already in the mail!
has the speech begun? if not, do we know why?
Found the same line at my Trader Joe’s this morning, maybe some of your lines came our way. Cans were going, dairy looked OK, eggs were going, fresh meat looked fine. Many frozen items were being purchased. A real overreaction. Oh well.
Leon Panetta? Seriously?
That started a run yesterday. And now with the President's pending speech....it's gonna be crazy out there.
And you want to send the whole loaf to ensure ample sampling.
Thank you! He may not want to wait for me; my boss can really talk.
15 minutes now.... I wonder what’s going on?
I’m sure it’s important, but makes me wonder.
No teleprompter set up...going to be either notes or off the cuff...
Late as usual.
NONE OF THE LINKS ARE RUNNING!!!!!
Fox on now. Chris Wallace is on mute (which happens every time I see him).
The media is doing so much harm to this country - all in their glee about a new disease and unfulfilled desire to damage Trump.
And I’m ashamed of our country for buying into their fear-mongering. Can you imagine the WWII generation responding like this? “OH NO! I MUST GO OUT AND HOARDE TOILET PAPER SO I HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE NEXT 75 YEARS!!”.
Sheesh.
We have outlawed China. The bombing begins in five minutes.
I live by myself, but always buy my paper products in bulk so I don’t have to run to the store every day for stuff. My freezer is full of food, and about the only thing I go out to buy once a week is soda, milk, and bread. I get my bread from an Italian bakery down the street. I live in a small city, and about the only place here that is always low on stuff is the Walmart Superstore...but they’ve had low stock for over two years, so it’s nothing to do with the virus. Yesterday, on my way home from the dentist, I stopped at the Walmart Superstore in that area, and they had people on every aisle stocking the shelves. I bought bacon, sausages, milk, creamer, hot dog rolls, cereal, etc., and found everything I needed. I did notice that they were low on peanut butter, but I have some here if I really get desperate for food. I don’t foresee any supply problem here.
The Kroger was out of half-n-half. ???
He’s running late...
I’ve NEVER heard so much hot air from the commentators leading up to this speech...Trump needs to do this, must say that.
I’ve been saying this for the last week. Cancelling major events such as the NCAA, NBA, well, everything has been a major blow to most people’s psyches. Pretty much the entire school system is closing down, that adds to the panic as well.
I wasn’t around for the Cuban missile crisis, but I think the panic and anxiety levels are right up there with it.
That generation had their own panics. Look up the 56 and 57 polio epidemics.
