Now that the number of new people infected with the coronavirus in China is slowing, the country's Communist Party is ratcheting up threats against the West, with a particularly nasty warning about access to life-saving drugs aimed at the United States.
In an article in Xinhua, the state-run media agency that's largely considered the mouthpiece of the party, Beijing bragged about its handling of COVID-19, a virus that originated in Wuhan and has spread quickly around the world, killing nearly 5,000 people and infecting thousands more. The article also claimed that China could impose pharmaceutical export controls which would plunge America into "the mighty sea of coronavirus."

How quickly could we get other suppliers?
Obviously, these Chinese don’t understand the free market. Even if we start dying from a lack of medicine, they are just hurting their own economy in the long run. Yes, that’s sarcasm.
Yup. Let them leave their diseases and cures in. China

Medical equipment.
Food supply.
Critical infrastructure.
Take away structural advantages we’ve given China over US manufacturers—such as cheaper shipping from China than domestically.
Or taxed. Instead we’ve put costs on local manufacturers than China doesn’t have.
Gee, maybe Trump will be heard on a hot mic saying “tell Xi Jinping I’ll have more flexibility after the election”. Not!

The drug companies know there are lots of people like you, that’s why they had Congress allow them to hide their country of origin.
That's how it was before the corporate globalists sold us out. Conservatives should presume, absent specific evidence to the contrary, that any given C-suite dweller is an enemy of America.
After this is all over, Trump needs to force US multinational companies and others out of China by raising import taxes from there to 200% and let there parasitic economy implode.Throw their kids out of US universities too. They are a cancer to the rest of the world.

Everything that DOD buys for our military is MADE IN USA!

(of course the components, like electronic parts and fasteners, and the raw materials to make military hardware...who knows where that come from - but one guess as to who’s a big supplier!)
