A key ally of President Trump offered a clue about when U.S. Attorney John Durham could complete his inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation.
Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, told colleagues during a House Rules Committee meeting on Tuesday that the review is expected to end sometime starting in June.
His investigation is due to be completed sometime this summer," Jordan said.
He mentioned it after Rep. Michael Burgess, a Republican from Texas, asked whether "anybody is going to be accountable now," referring to the significant errors or omissions the Justice Department inspector general found in the Justice Department's and the FBIs use of British ex-spy Christopher Steeles dossier when pursuing Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants to wiretap onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Summer turns in to fall, can’t go there it’s the election ya know, fall turns to winter and the statute of limitations expires.
Ewww
I am no longer optimistic, not even hopeful, of Durham or any DOJ member, for bringing prosecutions.
After Barr coming out yesterday in support of reauthorizing FISA, it has become obvious POTUS needs to clear out the DOJ, fire the AG and bring in Giuliani and others like him to do real prosecutions.
As many stalwart conservatives in Congress have said. if there are no prosecutions and prison sentences for those that have violated the law, then no law reform, no revisions or corrections, will suffice in stopping future law breaking.
As it stands, we have had and continue to have a 2-tier justice system.
I now put the chance of justice being served as a low probability.
Barr will never do that. Probably against DOJ policy, too.

I am disappointed he is taking so long. As we all know some of the cases he is working are “slam-dunks” and should not take that long. Is he trying ti find a time when he won’t be accused of meddling with the election?? I don’t know, but this slow-walking is not good.
Not this &@$t again.
Durham doesn’t write “reports”, or anything like that. Don’t be fooled.
Indictments, perp walks, etc., or Forget It. That’s it.
I would love to be proven wrong, honestly.
The Durham report is the Godot of reports.. well be waiting on it for all time.
Durham will not issue a report. Prosecutors don’t do that.
Me and you both.
Barr said “spring or early summer”.
No rush.
How does he know when it is “completed” unless it’s all a farce?
DOJ - Dept of Jokers
Barr is becoming just another fetid ‘law enforcement’ type circling the wagons just long enough for the smoke to clear and then slap an underling on the wrist.
Going forward there is no penalty for trying to overthrow an elected government as long as you draw a federal paycheck.
And to that add anyone stupid enough to accept a job with a republican administration will be subject to the filth in the DOJ/FBI having free reign to bankrupt and imprison you, with the blessing of the fifth column media.
I have learned EVERY TIME government types says ‘trust me’, it’s time to bend over because you are going to get it hard & ugly.
Notice it’s a “review” not an “investigation”.
Assuming that that was accurate a few days ago ten bucks says that the targets of the investigation will use the virus to refuse to cooperate...which would mean no indictments before the Election.
