If you listened to Chinese state-run media, you'd think President Trump went to China and released vials of COVID-19 on groups of unsuspecting men, women and children. Beijing has been bending over backward trying to convince the world that the United States is the real culprit behind the quickly spreading virus that's already claimed more than 4,600 lives across the globe.
It's a high-stakes strategy for the Asian nation fighting to keep its superpower status amid a national lockdown and palpable anger over claims that Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus, at first covered it up, triggering a worldwide health and economic crisis.

On Chinese social media (WeChat) the buzz is that the Chinese Government created COVID-19 to get rid of their surplus elderly population.
I take the ChiComs’ mendacity and turn it on its head by saying I think China deliberately released the virus and got it into the U. S. to damage President Trump’s reelection chances.
This defensive media blitz increases my suspicion China created this virus.

Will China, the first country (and superpower) to suffer the effects of Covid-19, also be the first country to recover, and thereby gain an overwhelming strategic advantage, while the USA, Europe and the rest of the world suffer the pandemic’s worst effects for a longer and even more catastrophic period?

It would not surprise me. Killing off the elderly does benefit their economy. And they have long experience with killing their own people.

What a false choice — we have to be paranoid or we are all dead. If “paranoid” means shutting down America and letting the communist fear mongers takeover, I say let’s take our chances.
I prefer to call it the Wuhanic Plague.

Makes one wonder. At the very least China put the whole world at risk by not saying anything for an extended period of time.

The Chinese communists want Trump gone and the DNC with Biden back in charge, Biden has been bought a while back already.
