You know, I don’t think the travel ban makes that much difference anymore, except to airline and travel industry.
We’ve got worldwide net meeting capabilities. We’ve got overnight services. There’s just not much travel that I think is critical to the economy.
first country on the ban list would be the US for not testing or reporting correctly, unfortunately.
The number of cases is increasing rapidly in the UK as their govt has taken a very lax approach on this issue.
UK should also be in the list.
That will hurt people who are having bridal showers and wedding this month and in April.

I wouldn’t go now. But for sometime in the future how much do other costs per person run? Gratuities and whatever else.
My thought on this is, how many Europeans are we keeping out in comparison to how many Central Americans are coming over the southern border?
If this is indeed prudent, and I am not disagreeing, if this that serious, then we should be deploying active military personnel along every vulnerable section of the southern border.
We are essentially closing the border to first world Europeans and leaving a much bigger border open to 3rd world invaders who are already carriers of a considerable number of other serious diseases. Example, keep Europeans from bringing in this virus, but allowing Mexicans to bring in tuberculosis.

As someone who has worked and is currently working for multinational companies, that isn’t correct.
Net meetings help on general updates, but for many things they will not work. For starters, there are times the person on the other end of the screen is lying to you.
Then there are the lost sales. Face to face sells more equipment than net. Not to mention getting skilled techs and engineers to help.
You can’t blame them.
If they don’t protect themselves, they’ll spread it to others. Just like we will.

That’s a fight we’re all wishing they would start right now.
It would be stupider than impeachment. And we would crush them.
Gratuity was 110 but can be paid at the end. Since there’s 100 shipboard credit. We’d use it to pay most of that. Waiting I’m sure will double the cost.
I saw a pic of an airplane interior with only one passenger visible. Will they fly with only one or two passengers?
