This election cycle we see a party putting Biden as the potential nominee. It is quite clear he is having some sort of mental decline. It isn’t anything for him or his family to be embarrassed about, but it is concerning for the nation.
This being the second election cycle that Democrats don’t have a reasonably healthy candidate in the race; what are they thinking?! My hunch is all these old Democrats are so addicted to power that they don’t know how to sail off into the sunset. Here’s how Trump should handle the debate negotiations.
First, nearly every election the challenger wants like 8 debates and the incumbent wants 0 or 1 debate. And they always settle on 3 debates (if my memory serves me). This year though I bet Biden is the one that only wants 1 debate.
So Trump should say he doesn’t think debates are needed against Biden since Biden is too feeble and doesn’t want Biden’s dementia to kick in on stage. This will hopefully get Biden to feel safe in saying he wants 8 debates and that he’ll debate Trump anywhere and any place. Then Trump should say, OK we’ll have 8 debates then.
