PEORIA — In a post on his Instagram feed, and concurrently on a website, former U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock says he’s gay.
He confirmed the post’s authenticity in a text message, and said he would let the statement speak for itself.
The former Peoria Republican, who served on the city’s School Board, in the state Legislature, and into his fourth term in Congress, made the following post:

Did he sing it in a broadway musical, write it in a book or just wave a little “rainbow” flag at a parade? That **it is important stuff to know.
Yep why the need for dramatic announcements? In today’s world, where homosexuality is honored and blessed in our secular culture, he can claim to he special, claim to he a victim of an oppressive society and all that.
I still maintain that the Republican Party is filled with pedophiles and homosexuals who simply are in the GOP as a flag of convenience. And that explains a lot of their behaviors. They don’t really believe in being conservative, and others are subject to blackmail.

I am guessing that most, if not all, of us "breeders" have seen attractive members of the opposite sex and wondered what mating with them would be like. In most cases, we can't even work up enough nerve to say "hi" and that thought, like so many thousands of others, leaves us almost as quickly as it came.

Schock resigned in 2015 when charged with lavish spending.
