Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh sees evidence that his 2008-spawned Operation Chaos strategy is alive and well and at work in multiple Super Tuesday primary states...Operation Chaos is more widespread than simply in North Carolina, said Rush. You ought to “bump into” a reporter to tell him or her that.
I was at an event last night where an experienced TX analyst said the 5% of the TX Dem early vote was from people who had voted in the Republican primary in the past four statewide elections.
..
How could they know that since Texas voters do not register by political party?
This is not new. My grandparents used to crossover and vote for the worst democrats they could find in the Wisconsin open primaries, if the republican nominee was assured. I worked as an election clerk in Texas on Tuesday and my guess was about 5% crossover voting by republicans.
In 2008, I voted for Hillary, knowing there was no way anyone could beat Obama. This year, it may be Warren or Tulsi, if they are still in.
It really was nauseating. No Joke. TN has open primaries, which usually results in preventing true conservatives from being about to get the nomination for Senate seats (Lamar Alexander for example) due to dem crossover voting. I would love that to change.
I’m going to wear my “His Name Was Seth Rich” t-shirt when I go to vote.
Tulsi is, and she is the person you want if you want to keep either of the other two from getting a majority of the delegates.
She amy also be the best of the three remaining Democrats.
